Lovey legs to update an old cabinet
Found a lovely old pine wardrobe I wanted to bring back to life.Unfortunately the cabinet had a built frame as support from the ground and I wanted visual space between the cabinet and the floor so I found these furniture legs online.It’s a lovely quality, sold wood and a great finish. It looks super after I varnished it a bit darker in a caramel stain that really makes the lilac pop.Very happy with this item and would recommend it.

Look good, but the wood is too soft - repairs needed later...
I have bought two of these sets of feet for use on home-made footstools. They are obviously made on a CNC machine, so there are some tooling lines which need to be sanded out, but one this is done and some finish applied they look pretty good.HOWEVER - both sets have had at least one instance where over time the threaded inserts have become loose and broken away from the leg. They went in and held fine initially, but the wood used appears to be too soft and with any movement over time (which sort of comes with the territory for a footstool) it just breaks apart around the threads and comes loose.I have tried to rectify by removing all of the threaded inserts and using a strong two part epoxy glue to re-fit them. Note that the threaded inserts have holes between the outside and inside so doing this will squeeze glue inside the insert - so you have to screw in the rods at the same time otherwise you won't get them in later.Time will tell whether this is enough to hold them in securely in the long-term.

Good quality product takes stain/varnish well the only problem i found was trouble locking them in place only got them in place after many Attempts but overall a good product and i would use them again
