Neat little set
Can't say too much, it's a neat little set with the Death Star Cannon, the tractor beam control and an Obi Wan and Gunner minifigs.

I felt a great disturbance in the force
We already had several Lego Death Star cannons from 2013 that are fine. However I like this refreshed version as well given the play features that include an actual spring loaded missile and a switch for the Death Star’s tractor beam!. Moreover it is mounted on this Death Star gun port/window frame. The cannon itself is decent and is a more accurate movie representation than the former version. The 2 included figures however are below average. We already had a small selection of Deaths Star gunners as the 2013 came supplied with two of them (and two imperial guards as well). Also we already have several Obi Wan Kenobi’s. Through this hooded version is somewhat interesting. The build of the 159-piece set wasn’t very special, it took my 6-year old imperial engineer less than 15 minutes to put it all together.Despite these small issues it a nice small set with good play value in a fairly iconic, recognisable setting. And it of course it combines nicely with our other Lego Star Wars sets and figures - it adds very nicely to our Deathstar layoutSo it is simply good value for money. And it makes a neat, small gift for any young Star Wars Lego builder/collector. And it would not even matter if he/she already has a similar cannon - there is nothing better than having a whole battery in place.Of course I can go on about the many other outstanding attributes of Lego - the quality of the material, the clearness of the instructions, the modularity ect. And most of all how Lego has educational value and that it connections children as well as grown ups through play and construction.
