The heat shrink does what it needs to and does it easily. Not too much else to say

I bought these before getting a heat gun as I was planning on using a hair dryer first. The hair dryer did not perform well for me on these and failed to fully shrink on my 22 AWG wire. I decided to buy this heat gun: Wagner 0503008 HT1000 1,200-watt Heat Gun With the above heat gun the difference was night and day! The tubes immediately shrunk around the wire to their respected size and protected my solder points well. I saw another review mentioning discoloration, particularly on the yellow, but I was happy with how they looked on my wires. My first thought is perhaps they were using too high a heat for their application (it's recommended to use Low heat on my gun for heat shrinks like this).I will be using these wires near water, so I'm going to seal my ends with some electronic (acid-free) silicone.Overall, I'm very pleased with these heat shrinks. They are good quality and have a nice variety of sizes and colors. The box they come in is very handy for storage as well. If you have trouble shrinking them with a hair dryer, buy a heat gun. It will make your life much easier.

Just used these for the first time yesterday - and I tested the ones I didn't use on the project I'm working on. What I love the most about them is that if you use a lighter to heat them up - they don't turn black and charcoal up on you - you really have to try and BURN them for that to happen - that alone was a sure sign of good quality. they do not ooze out glue from the sides - I build small engines and repair them - wiring is something builders see, when the wiring looks sexy and clean, it is respected and there's a TRUST in the rest of the build quality. Don't let the cheap price fool you - this heat shrink tubing set could be sold for $50-$60 or more at a big box store - sometimes money is made in selling large volumes of product vs big box stores.... selling low volume at huge cost. I'll be ordering a couple more of these $10.00 sets and more from URBEST - I love finding great products like this on Amazon! Even the clear sectioned case is built good - The case is probably worth the $10 this entire set cost!

I am using this to rebuild my wiring harness on an old Toyota Celica. The heat shrink tubing worked as described and it comes in multiple sizes and colors. Its shrinks nice when heat is applied and seems strong.It's not as thick as some tubing I have purchased from some retailers in my home town but it will work just fine after I surround it in black tape. My only other gripe is you do not get some sizes in all colors.Overall this is a great product and I would purchase again. Works great on smaller wire projects.

Good product, good investment

These heat shrink tubes are perfect. They are just the right length for covering up just about any splice, shrink readily with a little bit of fire, and come in a nice variety of diameters and colors so that you have some cable management options.The included case closes tightly and keeps everything nice and organized. This is probably more heat shrink than I will need for my entire life (really only needed 10 pieces to do a car stereo harness wire, but at the price i figured it was better to have more than less.

This is a nice kit with a decent assortment of heat shrink tubing. It has nearly every size you'll need for smaller low voltage wiring applications. The tubes have a nice thickness to them and they shrink snugly when used with correct corresponding wire size. The case that it comes with is perfect for keeping items organized and where the should be.

Ordered this pack of tubing for small cable joins in my electronics projects/repairs. Between using these and electrical tape this one give a better look and resistance to the heat and use. It comes in a variety of sizes an colors from 1.5 x 45mm to 10.0 x 45mm. You cant use a hair drier whit this because you need at lest 100°C for better adhesion. The general amount of tubing received, and the assortment of various diameters and colours of this heat shrink is really impressive! However, the pieces are about 1.5" long, so be careful of this if you need longer tubing. For my usage purposes, this length was perfect. I have used lots of this tubing and it has held up solidly in home electronic projects!I would recommend this product over store bought heat shrink (like from home depot), as they will $$ gouge you for only a few little pieces :( Five hundred and thirty pieces will last you a long time :)

Lots and lots of choices. Great price and at least twice as many as the local stores for the same price.

there are small, medium and larger tubes, but it's not that big, fits cables about 1cm in diameter for the largest tube. Not every color is in every size, there are more black tubes than anything else also. But I like the case, it's very useful, that way I can keep it with me and do repairs on the spot. It shrinks quickly and stays shrunken.
