Metal Classic 4-Slice Toaster in Brushed Stainless

Toasting is nice and uniform across the slice of bread, provided that you start out with a flat slice that entirely fits in the slot. Results are acceptable with more challenging slices. Darkness adjustment appears to be via a timer, not a sensor. You may have to do more than one cycle because of that. I don't believe anyone makes a toaster with a sensor anymore; I wish they did

I had been on the hunt for a toaster that would go well with out black stainless steel appliances. I wasn't finding anything that I felt would look similar. When I came across this Cuisinart I was so excited. The color is perfect and looks great with all our other appliances. Love the four slots - so handy with a family of 4. So far we find that it works well, settings are east to manage (and not too many too be overwhelming), and easy to clean. I find it finger print resistant, as well - or maybe we just don't touch the front?! The knobs are sensitive so if you hit it, it will turn, however it hasn't been an issue for us. I have found that if you have something lighter in the slot and it pops up, sometimes it pops it out of the toaster. That has only happened a few times in the months we have had it = again, not an issue for me.

Disappointed in the weight of the toaster and doesn’t brown. Evenly have had a Cuisinart before two slice and it was much heavier, white and cooked perfectly for seven years just needed a bigger toaster! Big regret!

This toaster seems to toast quicker than my last toaster. A few times, I would push down the lever for a second heating because I thought that the first cycle was too quick, but this was unnecessary. It is easy to use. The toaster can accommodate thick bagels without difficulty.

The toaster looks good and cleans easily. Some of the feature seem on the cheaper side.

This toaster is much better than our previous Toastmaster unit. Way faster and the toast pops up better. There is some unevenness, but not bad. The only real complaint is that the temperature (light/dark) control knobs are far too easy to accidentally bump and inadvertently change. Just trying to grab one to adjust it is difficult as the slightest touch sends it way off where it was. Overall, it appears to be a good toaster.

Easy to clean but have to adjust browning everytime we use it

It seems this toaster does brown very evenly, and quickly, too, even though there is no indicator to show browning degree or time to produce desired results. It fits on smaller counter, as well.

I like the toaster, nice and quick but I still find that it does not toast even on both sides.. one side is always darker.

Toaster no good wrong voltage

The look fits our kitchen perfectly. Easily adjustable toast settings. Perfect toast on both sides. Would be even better if wider fresh bread slices would fit. We just cut them in half.
