I purchased this item and it sat in my home until November 27. I hooked it up, and it doesnt work to specs, it comes on, goes thru the start up, and then starts blinking, about every second, the video blinks, can this item be replaced, or am I stuck with 368.00 worthless camera..

My only complain is about the "instructions", if you can call them that. Unless you install security cameras for a living, you may probably need help with the installation. This is NOT an IP camera. I thought it was when I ordered it, then figured out that I needed a DVR to use it. Also, this item shipped from China and took several weeks to arrive. You will do better with something American-made.

The listing for this item is very off.First its missing the heater and blower unit. It also provide a very blurry image and it does lack the privacy masking mode.I am awaiting for a reply from the vendor.

I've been testing many affordable ptz cameras and this one happens to be the best one yet!Pros: aluminum housing (not cheap plastic), very sharp image quality, i recived a 30x zoom over the 27x that the description said, very fast pan, easy osd and presser function strong bolts that don't strip easily.Cons: no heater or fan, can be a bit jerry in motion.. (until you get the feel for the controls).Overall if your looking for an easy and very affordable ptz Camera that does what it says 24/7. This is the camera for you. I would recommend this.UPDATE: this camera still runs perfectly but I have one thing to complain about that has been happining since I set it up. For about 15 minutes twice a day, as the sun rises and as it sets... the camera flashes in between ir mode and regular mode every second for 15 minutes and it's quite annoying... as light either gets brighter or darker from that point it stops but untill then it's having a shutter seizure off and on.....
