I _love_ how this fan looks. The blades are just beautiful. I installed the 60" in a 200 sq. ft. room and it's just the right size for the space. For the last month of summer, I had running on its lowest setting constantly for about a month and we got a pleasant cooling effect in the room. On its lowest setting is basically noiseless. On higher settings, it's still quiet.The LED light is fine — nothing special but no complaints.NOTE: I wired the fan and LED separately so I could tie the LED to a dimmer switch. There aren't instructions for this, but it was straightforward enough to do.

Love the look. So that kinda supersedes the less great aspects. The remote isn’t intuitive and it doesn’t come with a wall switch. But you can mount the remote on the wall in a little holster. Required extra time with our electrician to rig it up with a wall switch just for the light. It’s very quiet which is another reason I love it. I have 3 other ceiling fans that are better made with more features with remote and wall switch that cost half as much. But those don’t look this cool. Hope this review is helpful to you.

We had another fan similar to this fan that just didn’t move enough air in our bedroom. We already have the same fan only 70” in our great room that does an excellent job at moving air so we purchased this smaller version as a replacement and love it. It is so quiet we can leave it on all night without disturbing our sleep.

I have a few things I dislike about this fan. If you have a fan that uses one switch for a light and one for a fan, the control unit forces you to use just one switch to operate both, then you have to use the remote if you want one or the other on. Also the light is NOT dimmable because of this, but the description says it is. There is no dimming function on the remote.This is extremely annoying because the light is ridiculously bright as you can see from the picture. If you hard wired the light to your wall switch and installed a dimmer, that might work, but the remote would no longer work for the light. Also mine appears to have been a returned item, not new. It was not damaged but there were open packages inside and the wiring for the control unit was very frayed. Very disappointed for what's supposed to be a high end ceiling fan.

The media could not be loaded. Love the fan. But…it was supposed to come with a light. As you can see no light kit included. Return window closed before I opened box, due to unforeseen delays. I went ahead and had electrician install. Beware…open box immediately and make sure light kit included. Very expensive fan with no light. Also no battery for remote. Weird size battery, delay in getting that also. After many fails found the right size battery, as of today. At least the fan does work….

The fan was easy to install. When the fan is running, it's completely silent. The only noise is the air being pushed and that's only at high speed. The light is bright as well.

My $300 fan was better. Can’t feel any air movement at all. Very disappointed. Waste of $$

We were looking for a fan for our upstairs loft and had installed a different model Monte Carlo fan in the past on our first floor. I came across the Maverick and was pleased with how it looked in the descriptions and reviews and decided to shop around to see if I could find it cheaper than Amazon's price. We ended up purchasing it brand new via eBay for over $300 less and seriously love this new fan! The whole fan assembled is quite lightweight and straight forward to DIY install. Our ceiling is 8 ft tall where we put it and with the 6'' downrod it does not feel like it is hanging too low. As we have another Monte Carlo fan, the remotes are the same so we were already familiar with how it would look and function...which is fairly intuitive. My only comment regarding the fan which is more personal preference is on the lowest setting, I feel it rotates just a touch faster than I would like but since our loft can get pretty stuffy, especially in the summertime, it probably will not be an issue at all. We love the minimalistic look and it is whisper quiet with a healthy amount of light if we turn on the LED. This is definitely a fan I would take with us should we ever end up moving, especially since it is also quite pricey in the scheme of things. Highly recommended.
