Amazing Product! Even Better Customer Service!
A fantastic and BRILLIANT product. Performed beautifully and exactly as I had hoped it would. Great quality recording and will work PERFECTLY for my 3D binaural audio book I'm working on.I also want to take a moment to compliment the company as well. Their level of customer service was legendary! The first shipment never made it to my house (the USPS delivered to the wrong address), but Chris Carfagno from the Sound Professionals worked with me and got me another set despite the fact that they ended up losing out because the USPS didn't think they had to reimburse them. That's going above and beyond for your customer. I am extremely grateful to them, and they did not waste any time getting me my product the second time. They were even willing to emphasize the "Unit A" part on my shipping address, so that the USPS wouldn't have any excuse for delivering to the wrong house again. You better believe I will shop from the Sound Professionals again, and if the higher-ups of the company are reading this, PLEASE give Chris Carfagno a RAISE! The guy definitely deserves it!

Died exactly one month out of warrenty
The left and right channels had completely different frequency responses, including the right channel being overall quieter by about 10 dB. A year and a month after purchase the right channel failed completely (one month out of warranty of course)

I'm so glad we got these
I picked these up prior to our trip to Disney World after being inspired by some great podcasts I've heard. We recorded 25-35 hours of content and it's just amazing. Even a week after recording, the recordings are a gold mine of special memories. And the quality is just amazing.I'm using them directly on a Zoom H1 with levels fixed at 54 and the low-pass filter enabled. Quiet sounds were recorded very well (I can hear sounds in the recordings I didn't hear with my naked ear with no noticeable hiss). And loud sounds were still captured with no noticeable distortion (e.g. stage events, fireworks, roller coasters). It became a "set it and forget it" experience.I didn't use the wind screens at all (and actually lost them during the week). And there were times where wind noise was captured. But not having the wind screens on meant that I could keep them in all the time and (a) hear perfectly well, (b) attract less attention to myself. And the earpieces are comfortable enough to wear for hours and stay in very well (including roller coasters ;^J).I highly recommend trying these. It's a whole new way to capture an experience...

Was very excited for these only to be let down
Very disappointed. It states in the Q&A that these will work with the 1/8" mic input on the Zoom H1. Not the case

Great value, a couple very minor quibbles
I'm an amateur or hobbyist user. I use these microphones with my Zoom H4n recorder specifically for the binaural (3d) sound. While the sound quality of these mics is not as good as the built-in mics on the H4n, it is still pretty good quality and for the price, I am impressed, not complaining.Putting the microphones in my ears is awkward, but I haven't had any issues with them falling out (either with or without the wind screens) as reported by others. There is a small plastic 'noose' ring on the wires leading to each microphone, and I recommend tightening that ring so the wire is snug against the back of your head once you've put the microphones in. I do wish they were marked LEFT and RIGHT, but with the windscreens on, even that won't help. Instead, you can test at the time of recording or mark the wire for one ear with tape or the like.I also wish the cable was a little longer. Guiding the wires over the top of my ears and down the back of my head means there's only enough length to hold my recorder at about waist level with no slack. It makes using the microphones slightly more awkward, but not prohibitively so. I may get an extension to resolve that.Overall, this is a great value for the price.

Use an audio recorder and it's perfect
The media could not be loaded. As merely a fresh enthusiast (who barely knows what he's doing) who've loved the idea of binaural audio, I was absolutely blown away! I truly feel as if I'm recording audio memories and I get addicted to just recording mundane things, such as walking to the store or getting pizza. It sounds identical to when it actually happened! The cable is long enough to tread over the ears and still allows me to keep the recorder in my pants pocket, so it seems to have received improvements since older reviews. Same goes for marking left and right, which I've been using plenty. Still doesn't stop me from attempting to fit them with the microphone pointing inwards like an idiot every now and then but the mistake doesn't last for more than seconds as it won't sit properly that way. They're barely noticeable when set properly and easy to forget.Note to those like myself who throw themselves into this, an audio recorder like the ZOOM H1n for example is ESSENTIAL. I initially thought I'd be able to plug these into the headphone jack on my phone using an adapter, until I found out stereo sound is impossible for headphone jacks regardless of adapter. I also plugged them into a camera and tried recording using its video mode but it could not do the microphones justice (the quality was just bad). What you plug these into makes all the difference and a dedicated audio recorder is 100% worth the extra purchase. The video attached to the review is an audio recording doing the dishes using the simple setup seen in the photos.
