Duo-film works best, no doubt... but read for the best tips
Honestly can say, duo-film has been the ONLY thing that works for me. I had about 5 warts on my toes, with some between the toe in the "webbing" and 2 plantar warts on the bottom of my big toe.I tried Compound W discs with the little dots you stick on and cover with the disc, they worked so-so.With Duo-Film, between experimentation & reading others advice, I am going to give you some tips for the best results with this product:1.) Apply duo-film and always let it thoroughly dry. It takes 10 minutes (at least) usually. You can test it by lightly touching area, and you will quickly know if its FULLY dry yet. When its FULLY dry, apply more Duo-film. I only apply Duo-Film twice.2.) Do NOT put on the discs until the product is completely dry, like I said above. If you touch it and the bubble of dried product "pops" or oozes, it aint dry. Wait longer.3.) Ive noticed, for the best results, you really do have to apply this crap twice a day. So when you peel off the disc, let it dry for a few minutes. Then: 3.a) Buy a cheap pair of nail clippers at the store that you will intend to throw away and never use to cut nails. 3.b) Gently and carefully, clip away the dead white skin with these cheap nail clippers. DO NOT go too deep, you should not be drawing blood for crying out loud! You just want to clip away the deal skin. 3.c) Its IMPORTANT to know that you should NOT pick at the dead skin with your fingers - the HPV virus that causes warts can be in the skin, and you can spread more warts to your hands!!!! Always clip your dead skin over the toilet or a garbage can and WASH your hands thoroughly after.4.) After you have clipped away some of the dead white skin, apply Duo-Film and repeat every day.5.) For a hard wart on top of my toe, I had to file it with a foot file (that I intend on ONLY using for this, and am throwing it away after) and then I applied the stuff. After experimenting a little, these hard to treat little buttheads are going away. Duo-Film pretty much annihilated my plantar warts in 2 applications. I had been to my dermatologist and racked up a $500 bill and they couldnt even get them to budge.DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT over-tighten the cap, it will break. Then the alcohol and other ingredients will evaporate quickly and you will be left with nothing. If you run out of the little discs, you can use duct tape or regular bandaid. I tried some stupid nexcare flesh-colored tape and it sucked. Just trying to save you money, thats all.Other than that.... I never soak the wart beforehand like they recommend. This process takes long enough and I believe I have tweaked it on my own to be very effective. If I can think of anything else to add, I will edit my review but thats about it. Good Luck!!!

***Most effective wart remover for me!
I will be honest in this review. I had about 6-8 warts growing on my hands with 1 huge wart on my left pointing finger. It was absolutely nasty. I had the big wart for about 3 years before I tried this treatment. Before, I went to a dermatologist who used liquid nitrogen to freeze away the warts. The freeze did nothing for my big warts but after a couple visits, the small ones did go away. I would not advocate going to the dermatologist or using the freeze medication because they are awfully painful. Now, if I was guaranteed that the warts would disappear with the freeze, I would not complain. But without guaranteed success, why not try other paths? I went to my local pharmacy for wart medication, and my pharmacist recommended me DuoFilm. I was skeptical because I thought that if the freeze did not work, what would? I religiously put on the medication everyday and about 2-4 weeks later, my warts disappeared! I am not joking. I do not go on Amazon and write fake reviews to get people to buy products. As a decent human being, I am telling the truth here. This product really worked for me. Perhaps it may not work for other people but I put it on everyday, every few hours, and after a couple weeks they were gone. Even my big one which i thought i needed laser surgery...In comparison to the freezing, there was no pain with this product. I felt nothing and the only inconvenience was going out with white marks all over my hands...but it was worth it. Now I can finally hold out my hand without any insecurities. Give it a try. It's cheap and worth every penny.

It's easy to apply and dries quickly because it's ether based
I had three common warts on my fingers, and a couple more on my toes/toenails. Yuck! This product worked for me, but slowly. It's easy to apply and dries quickly because it's ether based. My partner was slightly bothered by the ether smell until it dried. After a few weeks I switched to compound W (same basic idea and same active ingredient). Compound W is messier and harder to apply because it's more viscous. It's alcohol based, so maybe it dries a little slower. It seems to leave a slightly thicker "cap" of salicylic acid on the wart when it dries. Compound W seemed to work a little quicker for me (days, not weeks). But that could be because I'd already progressed pretty far with DuoFilm. Scraping dead skin from the wart before re-application seems to really accelerate the process. Bottom line, the products are similar, and both worked for me, pain free. I wish it was (,ugh) quicker though, and it is pretty unsightly unless you use a band aid. (Doctor-applied liquid nitrogen did not work, and was more painful.)

Not as good as it use to be.
I have an old DuFilm from years ago. I really loved the product, so I ordered this one. I find that they must have changed the ingredients since then. The reason I loved it was because it was an oil base which meant it did not dry out like the other products in this category. This product now seems to be more water based, and does dry out very fast, which makes it not as effective. It works loner and better when it is wet.

Price and quality.
I haven't used it yet but I know it is a good product and works as I have used it before.

Not the same!
Its not the same stuff it used to be. Very watery and does not form good film over the wart.
