I am 5'8" and a muscular 160lbs with an Ectomorph frame, have a 30" waist in jeans (31" on tape) and the Small is, well, too small for me. Nearly all of my shorts are Small sized, as well as my shirts. These, however, are too small. The chart lists is as 28"-30", but really it's more like 27"-29."The quality of the shorts seems to be excellent. I have Medium Meister and Medium MRX shorts and these are of comparable build. The material is thin and light, which I prefer over the thick and heavy shorts. The side seams are triple-stitched and the velcro is strong.The length is definitely on the longer side. These reach past my knees slightly and are about 3" longer than my Medium Meister shorts, so they would be great for tall guys. I like them enough that I may return and get a Medium, or give them to my really skinny (130lbs) and tall friend.

I was really hoping that these would be the answer to my quest for workout shorts, especially for the money. I'm not sure when a HUGE Velcro waist tab and fly became the norm for workout gear but it definitely does not work for me. Good quality shorts, product as described. Waist string was a bit small though. Nice enough I ordered a second pair.

This product surprised me: IT'S TOO BIG! I'm around 250lb and I don't know who can wear those, coz they are reeeally large.. Or maybe I got used on those miniature Chinese cloth, and they are just right size.. I don't remember anymore.. :D
