Much assembly required. Only held up for less than 5hrs on the engine clock.
The kit comes in 1 box with 3 boxes inside. The motor comes disassembled, which is good! It allows you to inspect the internal components for defects and flaws. One of the big issues with these particular engines is they have been know to be poorly assembled from the factory, so I'm very pleased to see it's not preassembled. The kit components are the standard issue what you would expect. It does comes with a 4 bolt clamp on chain tensioner and a large downtube mounting adapter. No instructions, but there are instructions available online and plenty of forums with experienced motorized bicycle builders. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this kit to anyone who has built a motorized bicycle before, but maybe not to a first timer.2 months: Engine seized before I finished the 1 gallon of gas. I'm not new to building these kits, and I've wore an engine slap out without it failing. I have another motorized bike with over 100 hours on the clock. I estimate at least 1000+ miles on it and it still runs like new. This kit here was a dud, and that happens sometimes, but very dissatisfied now. Metal bits fell out of the crankcase when I took it apart to see what failed.Broken wrist pin, cylinder and needle bearing fell apart. Absolute junk.

No peddling.
I've seen little info about how well this thing climbs hills. I will tell you it does great. I've climbed hills where I live without peddling at all and some of them pretty steep. I use it on four wheeler trails no problem for hunting. It carries me, my pack, and my rifle just fine through the hills, and I weigh 230 lbs. I've had one problem though, the clutch. It seems the clutch pads that came on it are too weak for the motor and requires me to regularly adjust the flower nut on the clutch which is super easy actually. So I recommend buying performance clutch pads. The bolts on this are super strong unlike the usual Chinese motors. These won't break on you, but be careful not to over tighten them or you will strip the aluminum block, as with any motor. I'm running mine stock with a 44 tooth sprocket and it's really powerful. I think people who give negative reviews on these either don't know what they're doing or maybe got a bad one. This one is more powerful and somehow gets better gas milage than my 80cc did. It's Donatello an upgrade.

Good engine kit in my opinion.
arrived with no damage. Engine came with its head in a separate box. No problem with me, gave me the chance to clean up all the sharp edges, clean any manafacture shavings, and pre oil everything. Engine mounted nice in my Walmart bike frame, had to modify the exhaust, and chain idler. In terms of performance, after a few adjustments it rides nice. Overall I'm happy, and I recommend this to anyone who has experience mechanical experience.

Have extra cylinder bolts and better wrist pins n cdi
Idk if it happened in shipping or what but 1 of the cylinder bolts was bent in pretty bad it didn't damage the case I just took it out n replaced all of them with an extra set I had bought I didn't get a pic but the cylinder and and piston looked weird it had black spots all over it and it was a greyish color like it was used but after it was all together not even an hour later it locked up one of the wrist pins broke in half and scored the cylinder and the piston curing the rings in half I know for sure I didn't bent the wrist pin that broke cause my neighbor had the same problem with the yd 100 he purchased so I made sure I did it right so it wouldn't happen and the cdi was bad had to buy a new one someone had for $10

Blah blah blah
The discription said the motor was black. Got silver. Crome(?) pipe ect ect. So there goes my blacked out theme. Tank hardware not long enough. I'm glad I watched YouTube videos about yd100 and things to check out. Alot of slag in combustion chamber but my piston and rings are in the right way. Other than that. .....

66cc killer, great engine
This motor is great. The old 66cc China engines where fun if you knew how to work on them like porting and things like that. Now with this one being a 40mm stroke and a 50mm piston itโs a true 80cc and right out of the box you can tell the difference. The top end is there if you port the exhaust and raise the port timing but right out of the box the low down power feels double of the sluggish 66cc. I feel itโs a great worth for the money, could be a bit cheaper but for what it is, it shreds!

This is a good way to re-live your childhood for a budget price instead of thousands on an e-bike
Very detailed build ,well worth it when finished.

The exhaust is messed up
I gave a three star because my exhaust has rust inside the welds are wrong and cannot Mount to motor. After 4 months of use daily I finally broke it but was Ported and now is running better than other 75mph
