This is a fairly well-made product. The rubbery bottom prevents any sort of movement by the pad and generally keeps it situated. The cloth-top is very comfortable to my hand and allows for very smooth gliding of my mouse.The pad is about equal size (not quite as thick) as my old one, so it didn't take any adjusting from my usual setup.I do have one complaint with the service, though. I was never given a verification image like promised. I noticed my image, being a 16:9 (widescreen) image, it became a little distorted (a bit of horizontal compression), so a warning for that.Otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied with my product. It's a great thing to have, and being able to make it my own image really, really makes a differences.

The product description clearly states, "Before we ship out the mousepad to you, we will send an image back to you for your approval. We won't ship out the mouse pad until we have it the way you want it!"I was excited about this promise because I thought they would work with me until the product was to my liking. It helped me feel confident in ordering a customized product without creating it in an online art tool.However, they DID NOT send me an e-mail proof to approve. They just shipped the product a few days after the order was placed without ever contacting me.However, since the photo I sent was the exact dimensions of the mouse pad, it turned out OK in the end. The product is of good quality. I just wish they would have followed through on their promise so I didn't have to wonder if they got it right before I received it.

I can't rate my product because I haven't gotten it yet, but I wanted to mention something.It seems they only send you a pdf proof of what the pad will look like if you request the proof when you email them the picture.I have been very pleased with their service so far.I didn't like the first photo I sent in so I asked them to disregard it and use another one I sent.They had no problem and even suggested I fix the photo again so no faces would get cut off near the edges.So just make sure to request a pdf proof and they will send it!If you don't request one they will proceed with your order as usual.

Many people have complained about not getting a proof. When you first order this product, you should receive an eMail with a bunch of text, part of which said "We will not send a proof unless you request it or we feel that your item really need it."That being said, I did not request a proof. Item came with my picture I had uploaded, but much dimmer, as other Reviewers have stated.After 11 months, the product has held up, no wear or damage. The edges are a bit rough looking to begin with, but for the price of this, it is what it is. Worth the money, except for the low pic quality.

I bought one of these as a Christmas gift, and liked it so much I bought 2 more. The material on the backside doesn't slide on smooth surfaces, but the material on the front side does, easily. For its cost, it's adequately resistant to ripping and peeling. And neither my laser mouse nor roller mouse have had any problems with it.When you buy one, you'll get an email asking for the picture to use. It's a good idea to include how you want to resize it -whether stretching one dimension is okay, or if you'd rather have a border along the edges to keep the picture's dimensions accurate- and if a border is needed, what color it should be. The colors will be slightly dulled if you sent in a high-quality photo, but don't wash out, at least not any time soon.If you choose a mouse pad with a plastic cover that you can stick a photo under, then you will be able to change the picture on the mouse pad whenever you want, but the plastic is more likely to be difficult to run your mouse along. Also, the plastic covers tend to peel on those, making them worthless unless you can carefully glue it back on, which may end up gluing the photo to it. With this mouse pad, you can't change the picture, but it will perform better and last considerably longer.

In the questions and answers section, it explains that the company will contact you after you place the order for your photo. After they have customized the mouse pad they will send you a PDF proof and print after you approve. However, I instead received a cancellation email from the company the day after I placed my order since they had not received my image, even though there weren't any instructions on who to email the pic to on the amazon page. I replied to the cancellation email with my image and asked whether the resolution was ok for printing. I did not receive a response. Today, I received the mouse pad in the mail. I'm disappointed. I sent an image of my three nephews, but parts of their heads are cut off. Had they actually sent me a proof or clear instructions that explained they needed a specific amount of space on each end or things would get cut off, then I would have sent a different image.

This company brings the best product quality for your money. I was in dire need of a mousepad after giving my sister mine before moving so I didn't care too much about how long it lasted.I was extremely surprised! I won't have to replace this "temporary" mousepad. This one is here to stay. Two years later I'm still using it and there's minimal fray along the edges. When I say minimal I mean you have to run your fingers along it to notice them.Shortly after this purchase I ordered my husband one for his birthday. He's a gamer and his is heavily used so it shows more wear than mine. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who spends most of their time on the computer unless they're okay with replacing it.A little tip: I made sure my picture was 9x7 on Photoshop before sending it in so they got it right the first time. I did get a confirmation email to make sure I was happy with the final print.This coming holiday I will be mass producing these with pictures of my daughter on them to gift to family!
