I have just started using silicone lids and am totally convinced that silicone is the way to go! I love the looks of this lid and the color is so pretty. The design is very attractive. I use my Pyrex baking pans all the time and have been using up so much aluminum foil and plastic wrap without ever getting a good seal. This silicone suction lid provides the most air-tight seal possible and will keep food fresher for a long time. I love that this can go into the freezer and will help to keep freezer burn and freezer smells out of the food! I put it in the dishwasher as soon as I opened it, but it's so easy to clean right in your sink. I've used it in the oven, and it's SO much easier that using aluminum foil to check what's cooking. It works great to keep food warm while getting ready to serve. The dimensions for this lid are given are in inches. The bottom of my pan of the same size is in metrics: 33cm x 23 cm x 5 cm. I hope that this conversion is helpful. You can see from the shadow, in the picture of the large pan, that you can lift a pan right off of the counter. The handle is easy to grasp. This lid is also able to be used on a smaller rectangular pan. My second picture shows it being used on an 11" x 7" x 1.5" pan. The seal is just as great. I was able to lift the pan more than 12 inches into the air! These lids are so amazing that I wish one was made for my slightly larger Pyrex pan. I'm so impressed with these lids. I've always been curious about silicone suction lids and will be using this from now on! This makes me wonder about silicone muffin pans! I can't believe that it took me so long to try silicone. Product works great but I wish it was a bit bigger so that it would fit my 9 x 13 pans better. It barely reaches and I have to position it perfectly. But other than that it works great. It goes in the oven or fridge.

It was too narrow for my 9x13.I have loved similar products but this doesn't fit.

It is a nice quality item but it is slightly to small for my glass 13x9 baking dish.

I don't normally write a lot of reviews on products unless I feel that they are outstanding in some way. I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and the more I use it, the happier I become.I just recently discovered silicone lids on Amazon. All I could say after receiving them was, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?" LOL.I purchased a set of round ones to fit on my pyrex dishes and round pots/pans and then I purchased this rectangular lid from CMS Trade Group for my 13x9" bakeware all at the same time. The silicone lids are all that they are cracked up to be. Because they are silicone and can withstand high temperatures, you can use them in the oven, on top of your pots and pans while cooking, and just put them on top of your dishes when you have left-overs and put them in the fridge!. The pictures they have on the description, where it seals so well that you can actually lift the dish up by the silicone lid is actually true. It won't withstand you holding it like that for a great length of time or anything, but it gives you the point that if you are using it to put away some left-overs, you are getting a good seal so your food doesn't dry out!!Something that sets this particular lid apart from some of the rest on Amazon is #1..the price!! This product was definitely the most reasonably priced one on Amazon!! and #2, I really liked that it has the ability to be hung on a hook (which some of the silicone lids DO NOT. After receiving my lids, that particular feature became very important to me (Esp when you see my pictures!)In my kitchen, I have one large cabinet that was just for pots and pans with their lids. I have another large cabinet that was for my Pyrex dishes and their lids. For my pots and pans, the lids for those took up half my drawer space. Since receiving my silicone lids, I have taken all of those lids out to the garage and just have the silicone hanging on a hook in the cabinet. IT HAS COMPLETELY GIVEN ME SO MUCH MORE SPACE IT IS UNBELIEVABLE!! The silicone lids are SO versatile because not only will they fit and seal on a 9x13" rectangular pan, but also smaller. I have also used it to seal a Pyrex dish that was 8x12".I recommended this product to all my friends and family.

Seems to be working fine. The call these large but someone needs to come up with an extra large as we have several pans larger than these dimensions.

I wanted to have something reusable so that I did not have to use foil all the time. This product is perfect! I just received it and so far it is just what I needed. It is much stronger and more well made than I had expected. It did not “sag” into the dish. I used it to cover an oval shaped Le Creuset casserole dish and it worked perfectly even though the cover is rectangular. I was able to lift the cover off easily to see the dish, more easily than foil! It was very easy to take off for the last 15 minutes of baking to let the casserole brown. Cleaning was a breeze. I did not need to put it in the dishwasher as I just took a sponge and wiped it clean. It also seals so although I have not tried using it in the refrigerator, I think it will come in very handy for that purpose as well. I also think it is very versitile and will fit many of my pans and bake ware dishes. The only thing I am not expecting to be perfect is the color. While I like the light blue color, I think over time with use it might become stained. I am not very concerned about that though as it would only be stained on the bottom, or the portion that is closest to the food.

I was completely skeptical about silicone suction lids. I received the 9x13 suction lid and had to try it out. I was surprised to see that it actually does create a suction. Granted, I would not hold the dish by the lid but it did seal. I am excited about preparing dinners and putting it in the fridge where I only have to pop it in the oven and do not have to deal with foil or saran wrap.The Silicone Suction Lid is easy to clean and because it is flat it stacks well.I did notice that it does not completely cover the extra large 9x13 dish. It could be just a tad larger to cover a broader range of dishes.I received this product in exchange for my unbiased honest review.
