double check your use
I was looking for a hinge to slow the opening of a toy kitchen oven door and couldn't find such a thing at a reasonable price, so will give this a shot. The instalation instructions on placement of the screws is quite specific, but is limited to a very specific box/lid layout and size. It is intended for use on a box with the lid hinges installed in just one way. It has been rather time-consuming for my purposes as it would be for use on any other than exactly as designed. The price is reasonable, but I wouldn't expect this to handle much weight, and imagine if not lined up (and subject to twisting), the moving parts would break.

Photos are WRONG!
The two attached photos are WRONG. The main photo is a mirror image of what was delivered. The other photo shows a piece about half the length of a hand and give a dimension of 1.3 inches wide. It is 2.3 inches wide and 6 inches long, about twice the size in the photo. It is way too big for my need.

Not so great
Disappointed in it's lack of adjustability. It is either too tight or too loose.

Easier to install than one we found at a local hardware store. Installed in a window bench in the grandkids "sleep over" bedroom.

Great for small projects
The perfect size and color for our needs in converting our child's play kitchen oven to have a door that swings down with tension. Somehow the tension bolt popped off one of these recently, but it was a quick fix. Otherwise holding up well for our needs and against that of a toddler.
