2020 New Upgraded DIY WindScreen Windshield Repair Kit, with UV Curing Light, Quick Fix, Car Glass Repair Tool Set for Half-Moon Cracks or The Combination Cracks

Amazing product! Our current government loves low taxes and lots of potholes, therefore I have noticed my windscreen taking an increased hammering. Saw a half-moon with stars in my windshild. Star cracks slowly getting wider day after day. A windscreen replacement costs almost as much as a new car, so it made sense to purchase this repair kit. Worked extremely well, so well in fact that when I switched on the UV curing light I couldn't locate the damage any more, so I had no idea where to aim the UV curing light. So waited until the next day's end so the weak winter January sunshine finished the cure. I can't locate any kind of damage any more, perfect. My only suggestion is there should be two resin containers, because the instructions say put three quarters of the resin bottle in. The resin bottle is opaque plastic so I was thinking is that a big sqeeze or a little squeeze or what. Regardless, excellent results on my first ever attempt to fix a windscreen. I didn't end up with glue resin squirting all over my face/clothes or anything, lovely.

I had a 100mm crack horizontally from the edge of the passenger side. Didn't really check the positioning of the original chip until I came to use the kit. Watched a couple of videos and set about repairing. Chip was in the edge of the screen so wasn't able to centrally position the pedestal. Followed the instructions to letter. When creating a vacuum I could see some of the resin force along the beginning of the crack (and the crack became less visible) but didn't extend any further. So essentially it sealed or repaired the original chip but was still pretty obvious and didn't do anything to the crack away from the original chip other than sealed from grime etc. Would be surprised if it stops the crack spreading further. Wished I had spotted the original chip and crack before it originally spreaded. I think used early enough would probably work well but unfortunately not for me. In the first instance got to be worth a go rather than paying the excess on screen replacement but just don't leave the repair too late like me!Update March 2020Sucessfuly repaired a star/bull chip in the centre of drivers vision. As you can see from pictures. Internally repair can be seen against a background. Only really viable when staring at it rather than normally looking through the screen. Really just looks a bit of a smudge like when Insects leave marks on your screen. Been repaired for around 1 month now all appears OK in relation to stopping it getting worse

I was really optimistic about this.. however turns out to be an amazing piece of kit. Followed the instructions word for word. I would highly recommend this product and will definitely be purchasing this again if ever needed. There's actually enough in this kit for upto 3 chips.

Bought this to use on a chip on the windscreen to ensure it did not spread, totally useless and despite following the instructions to the letter it proved ineffective in even covering the chip. Would have been just as easy to put a spot of gaffer tape on it.

Used to repair a broken tablet screen, whilst unable to take it to a repair shop.Easy to use and repaired the screen better than I expected. The cracks and missing bits of glass are no longer sharp and dangerous. I can go back to using the screen without worry of cutting my self.

It is a cheap DIY option to hopefully make sure a chip does not get worse. The use of this kit was not as straightforward as I had thought. I used one sticky pad with one o-ring, the o-ring was too thick so resin leaked out. Worked ok when I used two sticky pads together. Some of the plastic parts are also a little fragile. Excess resin is easy to remove and sets quickly with the torch which you really need to hold yourself for 2 minutes.

Followed the instructions, took my time and the end result is great.The crack in the glass is sealed and it’s almost invisible. I can just see it and that’s because I know it’s there.I doubt anyone else would notice the repair.

These things never work as well as the pros kit. But it’s done a good job. Only time will tell but crack fill and windscreen smooth.
