Not very well made for the money

The case is well made, and unlike normal cases it is very thin. The measurements in the description are exactly correct, so my glasses fit perfectly and do not rattle around. Without all the unnecessary bulk of normal cases, I can just slip the case into a pocket without it being uncomfortable. The corners aren't rounded at the ends, but it is hard to see how they could be without making the case larger. I am very pleased with this case, and will buy another if I lose it.

If I have a complaint it’s that the finish is slippery to the touch and makes it difficult to open and hold. However it is relatively robust to withstand the inevitable drop.

Have you ever wondered why traditional spectacle cases have rounded ends? It’s because flat ended ones, like this model, snag in pockets. Why the maker has chosen to ignore a design which has evolved over the years I don’t know.In addition the closing mechanism seems to be failing after a short time. It’s a pity really because the case, although quite thin, seems quite strong and the hinges might last longer than the second rate hinges used in most modern spectacle cases.

Bigger than I thought. When they say slimline I assumed it was slim

Decent glasses case but feels a little flimsy. It's good that it's not spring loaded as th springs on all my other previous cases have died.Size was just big enough for my glasses but I would probably prefer a size up.

Appearance and function good but metal too thin and will have a short life. Might be ok on a bedside table but not for every day use
