Sounds fantastic like all the other FDR Earache vinyl releases I purchased. It's a bit hot in the treble, but not ear-splitting. I prefer the sound of Clandestine, that thing sounds god-like!

Louder. And just plain old sounds better
I've been listening to this album since day one. OK, maybe day two, since I live in the US and it is most likely that those death metal fans that live in Europe might have heard it first. But I've always loved this album. The best Entombed album, by far. But to tell the truth, I wasn't always that impressed with the sound quality of the album, it always sounded a little "far back" to me, maybe the guitars were just not loud enough, I don't know. Maybe just a little thin sounding maybe? Well, somehow all these things have been improved upon Massively, in fact, with this new vinyl pressing. Maybe it always sounded better on vinyl? I will never know, because the vinyl was always near impossible to find, and if you could find it, it would always be just too darn expensive. Not that this imported slab of wax is cheap, it cost much more than the average record in 2013. At this price I thought it might be because it was 180 gram or something. Nope, just a "plain" record. But worth it? You bet. And did I mention that this is a GREAT album? It is. It is.But they did a great job of remastering. Maybe they used some sort of expensive compressor, squashing the dynamics a bit? I don't think that can explain it, because usually when they do that sort of thing I like it LESS, not more. But wow-ie, turn this record up way LOUD. And enjoy the best death metal album that was ever made sound like it should have sounded all along. Whomp!

The expanded dynamic range LP edition of Entombed's debut album sounds wonderful. Heavy
Real death metal the ancient way! The expanded dynamic range LP edition of Entombed's debut album sounds wonderful. Heavy, thick, over-saturated distortion on the guitars, low, grimy bass and guttural vokills and a distinct Swedish d-beat influence make this the classic that it forever shall be. Just get it already!

Swedish death metal masterpiece
Not a huge Swedish deathmetal fan. More of a florida and new york fan. But this album is something to behold. A word to describe this album would be MEAN! Vinyl plays great and sounds great.

Quite possibly my number 1 album of ALL time.......
Mate... I'm gonna keep this short, n i'm gonna keep it pretty darn sweet! This album is THE Entombed album of all time, and possibly the best album I have ever bought.....The album opener Left Hand Path is an AMAZING track to open an album with, as it is just pure old skool Death Metal, n then the ending of the track.... MATE! You CANNOT put it into words.... Everytime i listen to this album I get the ol' shivers up the spine from word go! The way track 1 seemlessly blends into track 2 (after that deeply moving synth line) is pure unadulterated bliss, and the rest of the album jus snowballs from there to create, in my mind, the all time most amazing and influential Death Metal band of all time!Consider the fact that (from what knowledge I've gained) when this album was created, the eldest band member was 19! I only wish that I'd achieved this much as that age.... I'm 24 and still hoping for that break, so pay respect for those that have achieved it! If you love Death Metal, it'd be a shame to miss out on one of this worlds greatest bands!Enjoy!!! :D

Faithful repress of the original
Part of the Earache "Full Dynamic Range" represses of classic albums. While FDR is just Earache's buzzword for telling you it sounds like it used to before they destroyed the sound by remastering their entire catalogue for their CD represses in the lates 90s, the vinyl sounds exactly like it should. The FDR copies are not exactly the same as the original vinyl releases but are mixes found from the DAT archives which can differ slightly from the original releases. This is, however, a great improvement considering a lot of represses on vinyl are taken from CD sourced material!

Buzzsaw bliss
Best death metal album of all time on a classic black vinyl. Nicely packaged with no frills or bonus tracks. Basically the real mccoy that you would have got in 1990. Taken from the original analogue tapes as opposed to having some digital copy then slapped onto record format, creating a great, nasty sound. You seriously cannot beat this album from the masters of the Swedish death metal

Entombed
That is what you feel when you listen to this album. For all the deathstars here this a treasure. For the rest please keep away. There are other supergroups for you to discover anyway.
