Forensic Accounting: What the World's Best Forensic Accountants Know - That You Don't

Incorrectly Titled. It is a career guidance book, not a book of techniques.
This is a well written book but the title should be: Considering a Career in Forensic Accounting? or perhaps: Uncovering Financial Fraud: Your Career in a Growing Field. It is about the type of person who would be a good fraud examiner, the necessary education and the different tasks upon which a forensic accountant might be called. If you are already an experienced accountant and are assisting a client with a fraud issue this is not the book to fulfill that need.

Great primer for someone interested in Forensic Accounting
This book is a great primer for anyone wanting to move into a career in this area. Thorough overview of the job itself, what FA do on a daily basis, what education is recommended, and even how to interview for that first job. Recommend for any CPA wanting to move into Forensic Accounting or someone just thinking of a CPA career and the options.

Possibly of use to someone considering a career change
Disappointing considering the bold claims on the cover. Barely one hundred pages, even when padded out with several career advice chapters. Brief, generalised, mentions of the usual suspects, Enron, WorldCom, other high profile failures / frauds, no new info or in-depth analysis, sorry

NOT a book on 'Forensic Accounting'
If you are looking for a book on Forensic Accounting - this is NOT THE BOOK YOU WANT. Read the book title again..it just tells you what a Forensic accountant know which you (a general person) dont know. The book is a small one (<100 pages) and just a list of things (which some examples and views by the author) on what a good Forensic accountant knows (which general people normally dont know). This book does NOT carry info or Forensic accounting itself.
