Fortson offers practical ways to empower ourselves, our children and our communities. The points in this book are something that should be taught in our homes, our schools, and our churches. Excellent breakdown and well written.

After reading this book for an hour.i will be honest because i think it could be better. There are resources the book gives but it doesn't lay out a blueprint of how. I suggest that this book be given to a teen as it is easy for them to read and understand or someone who is incarcerated where knowledge like this could educated them. To be honest this type of information is what you would get from sitting in a black barbershop for over a hour listining to the old heads talk while getting their hair cut. It full of quotes but not laws like you would get from the 48 laws of power. I am not downing this book but alot of what is shared most black people know now and to be honest it was a hard read because of that. We know but dont apply and the book if it spent more time in the oven could explain that in detail of how we got there instead of just telling you flat out. If you buy the book you will see what i mean. Its not a "The New Jim Crow" type of book but a series of thoughts with little figures to explain what you are reading. I wish the author well and did enjoy some parts of this book. I will give it to my godson to read who is in high school now.

I could not put this book down. A friend of mine recommended it. It is a good read with powerful suggestions to help our people. This would be a great book for Black Studies. Do they have that in schools these days? Mr. Fortson, I pray wherever you are that your words and your actions will change the world. This book is a great start.

Reading This Book Dailey for 48 Days was Game Changing and Life Altering. The 48 Laws of Black Empowerment is a Must Read.

This is a fine book and it touches on the finer points of what it takes to look beyond our limits.

I liked everything simply used for my own education and moving forward with the black empowerment movement
