The Solitary Bees: Biology, Evolution, Conservation

This is one of the best books I've ever read on solitary bees. It has a wealth of information, charts and photographs. Very interesting and informative book. Essentially a textbook, but so well laid out that the homeowner can use it to gain information on these extremely useful insects. Very easy to read and informative.

I absolutely love this book. I’m about halfway thru so far and it is jam packed with valuable information. Not overly technical so it would be good for a hobbyist or someone with general interest. I’m a grad student starting field work next summer on solitary bees so it’s very relevant for me.
