Overall, I'm pleased with this grooming tool. I especially like the slightly curved position of the teeth on the long comb side - they fit into the contour of my cat's body and work well for getting at the larger tufts. And, I like the shorter, sharper comb side for getting at the undercoat. Being able to switch from one grooming function to the other ( without putting down one grooming tool and picking up another ) already feels normal! I'm including a photo of today's undercoat pile... I was impressed! The 2-1 groomer will be my primary tool for keeping my cat's coat in good condition and keeping his undercoat production in check. Thank you for producing this very fine groomer!

I bought three of these tools for my family. We all own mini golden doodles. All of them broke on the first use. My daughter used it first and called to tell me that it broke almost immediately. I thought she was exaggerating, but after using it twice on my dog the longer side of the rake fell into my hand as well. I bought one for my son as well and his fell apart as well. I do not think it is a coincidence, I personally think they have been laying in a hot warehouse somewhere and the glue that holds the tool together just weakened. I went to AC Moore and purchased a hot glue gun and glued it back together. If you are going to try this as a fix, you have to allow the glue to set up for a few days before using the tool. I have used it twice now and it has not broken again. My son and daughter just use the one side of the tool that has not broken. I would never pay full price for the tool, BUT I do like the tool for $10!!!

This works very nice. My only reason for not giving a 5 star review is that when it arrived the brush end had come apart from the handle. My handy husband glued it back together and it's stayed that way so far. We have a shih-Tzu and of course their hair is a constant problem. We keep him pretty short, but you still have to work with them and am finding this helpful.

I really don't know if it would have been good. I bought two, both of which were broken before I even got to use them. I didn't think it was worth trying for a third one.

Not a fan of the flexible head. I'm a veterinary technician and i use these type brushes to remove the shedding under coat. At a good price for the product quality i gave this one a try. When i got it in the mail the wide toothed end came unglued from the brush itself; of which i had to reglue. Which isn't a big problem but still, i had just got it and it fell apart. Overall, i would suggest this product but also noting that i suggest you only use once a week for about 10 minutes or less because it can irritate the pets skin or damage (causing even MORE shedding)

I bought this gem for about $5, which was 80% off, during a recent sale. I just got the tool in the mail today, and it is already proving to be amazing! I’ve only spent a few minutes on 2 of my cats, and the amount of hair was astonishing (see photo - that is only 1 cat after about 5 min of brushing). They also seem to enjoy the brush more than other grooming brushes I’ve bought in the past. Even at regular price I think this is worth it - considering similar products at places like PetCo go for $50+.***Edit 4/27/2018: Like a few others I've seen, the wide-tooth part did come off after a month or so, but I never used that end so I won't be deducting a star from my review, as I never bothered to even glue it back on lol. So the quality maybe isn't as top tier as the shedding tools at the pet store than are triple the price or more, but I still stand by the little shedding comb more than a year later.

Update: Docking a star because the large comb side broke off. I can probably glue it back on, but I shouldn't have to.I already had 2 brushes for my cat, the shed monster and a slicker brush, but she sheds like crazy. I looked into the furminator but couldn't bear to spend more on a brush for my cat than all of the brushes I own for myself. Luckily I stumbled upon this and it really delivers! My cat still sheds of course, but not in clumps in my hand as I pet her anymore.She is a short hair so i primarily use the de-shedding side rather than the wide tooth comb side, but I was impressed enough that I bought a second one for my moms cats.
