This In-Line water filter can be used on any brand refrigerator. It is an excellent way to have fresh, clean, filtered water and ice in refrigerators with an automatic ice maker or water dispenser. It is designed for refrigerators with automatic ice-makers and water through the door devices, plumbed coffee makers, or water coolers with 1/4" O.D. tubing. It may be installed on either plastic or copper lines. The filter's connectors fittings are a special high-pressure quick-connect type. The quick-connect fittings are conveniently located on both ends of the filter where the water line will plug. It is easy to replace and does a good job of filtering the water used for ice and drinking. This particular model, the WF-1500WQC is used in Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag and side by side refrigerators with 1/4" O.D. tubing. Important: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of uknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
