TWO MONTH LATER UPDATE REVIEW HERE
UPDATED TWO MONTHS LATER- SEE END OF THIS REVIEW!!! Totally surprised at how high quality these were! I bought two pair after AGONIZING over which "spy" glasses to buy, I've heard too many horror stories about people buying no name electronics online and getting a chewed wad of gum in the package, well maybe not that bad, but I was nervous about spending my money. They arrived in two days as promised, the packaging was professional and included a spec sheet, instructions, special headphones (they clip on to the side of the frames, they are NOT 1/8 " standard plugs, nor is there a 1/8" hole for one, but that's okay), an attachment USB cable, a semi- hard carrying case, and the glasses themselves. Anxious to try them out, I ripped into the package and read the instructions. The specifications are pro quality (20- 20khz frequency response, 720P resolution, polarized glass lenses), but I wasn't sure I trusted that (how can you get 20 hz response on a mic thats the size of a pinhead? ), and I didn't recognize the brand name (Mega Sight, made in China but the packaging and manual were Americanized and easily readable) so the only way to find out was to see it in action. I immediately stuck the cable in the computer to charge them up, and the red light told me they were already charged. The desktop on my computer IMMEDIATELY registered the program for using it as a webcam (this is an .exe file, so PC only on the webcam, but I'm a mac guy and it wasn't necessary) plus there was a file for the video and MP3 files. As I read the instructions, I found out that the 'rosettes' designs on the side that innocuously look like "oakley" trademark logos (although not too conspicuously) are ACTUALLY the finger controls for the camera and MP3 player! How Clever! You don't have to take them off or on to pause recording, start recording, skip to next song, fast forward, rewind, power on or off. HOWEVER, there is a little red light, carefully hidden to not be seen by the intended target, that tells you when you are recording, paused, or off. This made taking the glasses on and off to power on/ off important to be able to be sure I was on, but I think with a little practice I can get the hang of it while I'm simply walking around with them on. After a half hour of recording (the camera has 1.5 hours buillt in (8gb) but is expandable to 3 hours (16 gb with mini SD card), I brought the camera back in to check my footage. I was pleasantly surprised to find the footage was crisp and in focus, the 5MP camera really captured the light well, and I stared at the sun to try to wash it out, and it automatically adjusted for different light conditions automatically. The one thing I wished it had was even the slightest bit of adjustment (ISO, etc.) but almost all of that can be done in post, and the footage I got was better than satisfactory. The other thing I didn't like was that even with the camera high on my bridge of my nose, the focal point was down on the ground in front of me, so I had to learn to walk with my head up, looking higher than normal, but not suspiciously high or abnormal that would attract attention. Not ONE person noticed I was filming them. The quality of the footage was broadcast quality, and I watched it on my 40" flatscreen with no pixellation, slur, or other problems associated with low end video devices. The sound quality was surprisingly good, picking up conversations I had with people clearly and with a broad dynamic and frequency range. It looked AND sounded good. Finally , the lenses are actual polarized glass (uv400, I know that's a level of ultraviolet ray reduction but Im not sure how it works), but the polarization of the lenses made everything I looked at crisp and in focus, and I wear contacts so I notice these things easily. The frames are typical biker style, but the material making them seems like its not cheap plastic, they fit comfortably, ( maybe a little tight, but I stand tall), and I didn't feel dorky or conspicuous wearing them.I was actually happy with them, they worked like they said they would, and I definitely could have spent a few hundred more on a similar product and would not have been happier. All I ask is that a device does what it says, and these did, to my total satisfaction. No, I don't work for the company, look for my show, "Life on skid row" coming up on YouTube. TWO MONTHS LATER------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am STILL using my spy camera glasses, and I decided to post an update because a lot of people were asking me questions.FIRST of all, the battery sucks. Not that it doesn't work mind you, BUT it takes FOREVER to charge, others have simply given up due to this, and I have NEVER seen a battery take so long to charge. IT DID NOT charge at ALL in my Apple Macbook Pro, and if you see above, it is really made to link with a Windows PC, so once I connected it to my PC, it SLOWLY charged over about 6 or 8 hours. After switching to my PC, it charged up and worked fine BUT, I was able to connect to my Apple Macbook pro and copy the videos, delete the files in the glasses, and load up Mp3 songs without AMY hassles, so just remember this, if you only have an Apple, you might want to think about a different pair. The image is VERY shakey when filming while wearing them, there is no auto stabilize and walking with them on your head, the lens points DOWN by default (if you look straight ahead, the camera would center on the rear bumper of a car from 20 feet) so it isn't STRAIGHT down, but I DID have to walk with my nose in the air, and try to keep my head steady. I then had to use auto stabilize in imovie or final cut pro depending on which softare I was using. By the way, the .avi files transferred and played FLAWLESSLY on both my Mac and PC , converted to quicktimes, gifs, any video files I wanted without a hiccup EVER, so I still feel like I got a deal, especially with homeless guys threatening to knife me when I filmed with my pocket mini sd digicam. Not one person has asked if I have been filming them, TO SEE THE RESULTS, go to youtube search for "Life On Skid Row", I have two episodes posted, march and April 2015 (so far, more to come). I STILL think they are a bargain for what they do, but remember they are a cheap electronic toy, not a pro recording device by a LONG stretch, but you can really get dirty with them and cause people who deserve it a lot of anguish, or just record things you see that are beautiful and dont want anyone to know you're filming. Spend the $65 or whatever, CHARGE THEM ON A PC, and have fun.

Good if you get it for under $50.
These are definitely an acquired taste. The glasses do what they say, but they are very plasticy and susceptible to breaking. The USB port for it is very unique as well. I believe it is really only found on some digital cameras. Records great, sounds good, easy once you get the hang of it.

Don't buy! Crappy product!
I ordered two of them and charged them both over night.Woke up the next morning to find out that one pair did t work at all, and the second pair worked for about 15 minutes. I was able to make a recording then watch it on my pc, then I disconnected the cable and tried to film a longer video and then when I plug it back in the pc the second time my windows didn't recognize it as a device or anything. /simply nothing happens now.
