Good Stuff!
I bought it to cover a pull out keyboard shelf that the finish had worn through, exposing the particle board underneath. The area where the mouse was used was especially bad. The front edge has a gradual curve that concerned me.This stuff worked GREAT! It went down easily even though I was putting it on by myself. Just leave the paper attached and work from one end, pulling the backing away as you go. The adhesive isn't overly sticky so that if you happen to get a bubble, you can just use your hand to push it out the edge without worrying about wrinkles. I have no bubbles whatsoever. The curved edge was fine too, it seemed to stretch just a bit to conform.I've used contact paper in the past, this is 10x better. It seems to be a vinyl product rather than paper. It feels like it will hold up well. It may cost a bit more but well worth it IMHO.It looks awesome, better than it did new.

DC Fix always the best contact paper
I bought it to give a new look to a closet and used the black wood film over the two external doors and a light blue one (from a different brand, that matches the color walls) on the two middle doors. Now my closet may not be an high-end one, but has a very nice contemporary look! The black film is great and you can really see the veins of the "wood". I tried different films for different project, but the DC Fix is absolutely the best one, thicker than the others (so you don't see what's under it in transparency) and easier to put over whatever you want to . Be sure to measure your surface because I found that the DC Fix roll is a little shorter. It is as wide as the others, but for instance one of them was just as long as my closet door, probably one inch more! One suggestion (from my experience): if you are going to cover a door, start with the small edges all around before, then put the contact paper on the big surface on front, so that you can roll it a little over the sides where you already have the contact paper. This way it will stick better plus you won't see the edges of the contact paper.

Looks great on my drums!
I refinished a Pearl Roadshow drum set using this film as the wrap. I'm blown away by how good it looks. The print not only looks like real wood, but the "grain" is even textured so that it shows up in the light. I redid my 10", 14", and 20" with two rolls ($24). Adhesive has held just fine this past week. My only concerns down the road are 1) color fastness and 2) durability, since I will be gigging out with these drums. I don't imagine they'll survive a collision with a door jamb or other obstacle. I'll be sure to update in a few months. These concerns aside, which are totally outside the intent of the product, I'm 100% pleased. Highly recommended for household or creative use.

Updated My Kitchen...It Looks Beautiful!
Great product! Updated my old ugly kitchen cabinets. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I feel that you should get a little more in the roll. One roll does not go far, especially if you are a perfectionist, like me. It took 6-7 rolls to update my kitchen (so about $70). This project took me a while to do. If I had an entire, uninterrupted weekend, I would probably have finished faster, but I work full time and am a mother!I removed all the doors from my kitchen cabinets, measured, cut, and put on. I bought new hinges and pulls at Home Depot and viola! New kitchen. It's not flawless, but it looks so damn good. Looks like a black wood finish. I do have air bubbles and other imperfections, but who cares? It's definitely an upgrade from my 1970's kitchen in my old house without breaking the bank.I would recommend to anyone

Quality and Durable!
I bought this back in January 2017 to redo my bed. The cherry wood clashed with the dark wood furniture I had bought when I moved. I spent a lot of time researching painting my bed (as it's laminated compressed wood and not solid wood) and eventually decided to give adhesive film a try as it's come a long way. The first thing I noticed about this film is how thick it was and it was even slightly textured to give it a bit of a wood grain feel. It does have a bit of a shine to it that gives it a laminated wood look, but that matched my IKEA furniture so I had no issues with that. By making sure I cleaned the surfaces it was supposed to adhere to and taking my time to apply it, the application was very easy and bubble-free. Because of the dark color and the wood grain, this pattern is a bit more forgiving if you miss a spot and have to place another piece over it.It's now January 2020 and everything is still mostly where it should be! The only places that have started to peel slightly are smaller pieces that didn't have a large surface area to adhere to or places where I caught an edge and accidentally pulled on it. The majority of it still looks the same as when I first applied it and it also survived me moving the bed around. There is a grid on the back to help with cutting/measuring the pieces, but it's often broken up by the written instructions which was a pain when I had to cut out smaller pieces. Also, definitely measure out the surfaces you're covering to make sure you don't find yourself short. It took me about 3 1/2 rolls to cover my bed (and I did leave the shelf undone as I planned to cover it up with a backrest [which 3 years later, I still haven't done]).Overall I definitely would recommend giving this a try! I liked this brand so much I recently purchased their marble adhesive film for my windowsill. I'll update this review with a link to a review on that after a month or so to see how that stands up to the temperature changes by the window.5/31: If anyone's interested, my review of d-c-fix's Decorative Grey Marble contact paper is now up here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R23P0SRC3RFFJX?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp(Spoiler alert: I liked it almost as much as I liked this one).

Its ok. Good idea.
Looks nice, but very thin. Should be applied yo smooth surfaces because it will show and imperfection underneath.
