Looks nice and it’s easy to fill but it’s not very good at grinding pepper.....nothing comes out. Waste of money.

I wish I would have read the reviews. It looks great and feels high quality but doesn’t work worth a damn. You have to continually awake it to get them to fall to the bottom.

The top of the grinder loosens after about two turns of the handle, resulting in NO pepper coming out. Additionally, the peppercorns aren't moved around enough inside the chamber so you have to turn it over or shake it every couple turns as well. I've never worked so hard for fresh pepper! It does look good, though...

It's beautiful to look at, but the first one I received was broken and the second did not work well at all.

Bought this for friend who prefers cooking with whole spices. The store bought plastic grinders, much like the wooden ones that make you twist your wrists constantly, are not very fun to use. This lever grinder is much kinder to the hands and wrists and far better compliments my friend's marble mortar and pestle than a wooden or plastic pepper mill.

I bought it because it had a crank, looked like good construction, etc. But the crank is uncomfortable and squeaks. The mill is hard to fill due to its tiny opening. There is no real base, so if there's any moisture on prep area, it'll wicker it up and clog. This thing sucks from just about every perspective.

I love my new salt grinder! Its easy to use and the salt comes out just like it should. My old one was leaking salt all over. This one is easy to control, has a nice weight and a strong handle. Looking great too!

While the description says it is good as a pepper grinder I can barely get the peppercorns in since there is a metal bar glued to the top of the grinder. When grinding, you'll find the peppercorns don't fall into the grinding plates without giving the grinder a shake every 5 grinds or so. Not ideal but it's better than what we had.

Although it looks great, it doesn’t grind easily. The handle is quite small and is hard to operate. No matter how we adjusted it it took a long time to grind anything. And even then it didn’t give us much. Got a different one and so much happier. Too bad. It’s really nice.
