Adequate, but not sufficiently high-contrast for us
What i was looking for was very easy-to-read dice for a low-vision user. The background of these dice is sparkly green, and doesn't provide the simple contrast of a dark dice, therefore, they didn't provide the clarity that we had hoped for. It's a nice design, it just didn't provide the high-contrast we were looking for.

they're dice... with numbers
packed well, arrived quickly.I wanted a set with numbers to work on numbers with my 3 1/2 year old. we each roll one, she tells me which is more.last night we played "war" with dice- higheset gets to keep both- 15 minutes of FUN math practice. I plan on tucking them in my pocket when we go out to dinner to keep her occupied while we're waiting.

Learning fun
We love these. It has been a huge help with helping my daughter work on her math. She has memory issues so this is just another fun way to help her learn.

It's nice to have a package of 6-sided that are not simply gambling dice. Well-made, high-quality, I highly recommend for any gamer.

Not to nit-pic
Typically opposite sides of a die add up to 7. Only one of these does. Other than that, seems to roll randomly (and yes, I'm the huge nerd that checks). So I dig'um they suit my purposes of slaying dragons.
