I got sick of trying to dig nail clippers, pocket knife, and pliers out of different pockets to solve different problems and so broke down to find an "all in one" solution. This unit was one of the cheapest ones I found and I really like it. It came with three lanyards which I'll probably not use (I'm a bank fisherman), but I hope to get a kayak or something similar next year, in which case I'll definitely use one. Having said that, I will make use of the vinyl holster that hooks to my belt, or maybe just keep it in my hip pocket. There's a button to keep them in the closed position so they'll slide easily into your pocket.The rubber grip is nice, some of the others I found are bare metal. Should be handy as the temps drop. The line cutters cut through my 60 lb. braid super easy, MUCH better than trying to use nail clippers. The blades and jaws are held with small torx screws so they should be replaceable. At a glance I didn't see anything on their web site but maybe they can be had through their support page. Time will tell. The split ring separator at the tip is great! Instead of throwing lures away after the hooks have been mangled I can now replace them easily. That should help pay for itself. Overall I'm very pleased. I'm finally starting to catch some fish worth weighing, I think I'll check out their fish scales next... :-)

I bought these for ice fishing and because its summer I have not tried them out in the field. What I do like about them is they can grab a hook and with a twist I can remove the hook quickly. I also like the line cutter option, the grooves for split shots and the 3 lanyards with carabiner clips. The one con (I think) is the split ring pliers because I use the needle nose pliers to tie hooks on my line but I think I can work around this. I like the color because if they get dropped in the snow they should be easy to find. So far I give this product a 5 but I can’t wait to use them.

I am a beginner fisherman and soon realized my multi tool isn’t a good fit for fishing (line cutting, hook removal and lead weights adjustment). Honestly, the reason I chose this set from many similar products was largely because of the two extra lanyards given.Upon receiving the package, however, I found the pliers are pretty well made, light weight, well lubricated and should last a long time. I wish the line cutter could cut my 5/16” lead pulling rope though so that I can also carry this tool when go crabbing.The two extra lanyards are supper useful for me to prevent tool/phone loss while fishing/crabbing from my kayak.

I haven't had a chance to use these pliers yet, but they appear to be exactly what I need. The are very lightweight, but appear to be well constructed. I really like the locking feature. I love the attached lanyard as I have lost several pliers in the river. The extra lanyards are going to come in very handy for other gear. The only con is I wish the holster was a little stiffer. That would make it easier to holster the pliers one handed.

I used these for surf fishing. They have not appeared to rust at least over several uses and months of use. They work well. I’ve used them to get some hooks out of sharks I have caught off the beach with no issue. The side snip is very helpful and works really well. The pouch is not very useful but the pliers themselves are worth the money.

The pliers seem very well made, light, durable and very versatile. Good value. I will update review after some heavy usage!

These are a solid, quality set of pliers. The line cutter works great, the jaws are solid and very multifunctional. Not sure what people are trying to do with them that they are twisting and bending the jaws. I really appreciate the coated handles, they are easy to grip and stay that way when wet. The handles are much closer together when closed. For smaller hands, this is a great feature. The quick and easy thumb-lock works well and is intuitively placed. Overall, especially for the price, these are outstanding.

Product is alright for what it is but I honestly can't remember what I paid for it I think it was around 20 bucks 25 bucks and honestly things have be there like gone wrong with it or minor like imperfections like the tooth chipped for the clipper and logo on the handle popped off so if you can maybe find a better pair or if they increase the quality on these or it is cheaper than $20 I wouldn't say they're worth it
