totally relatable
she tells of her journey with brutal honesty, nothing held back. I too went through several miscarriages and IVF and it took me 3 years to give birth to a healthy baby, and I recognized many of the emotions and ups and downs she went through. and just like her, I had to pick myself up off the floor numerous times, dry the tears, scream at the injustice of it all, and then forge ahead. it's so wonderful to be on the other side of it and know it was all worth it. but I still can't believe the way things worked out for aprill and how her 2 boys came into their lives, life really does work in mysterious ways...great book if you want to understand what it's like to go through infertility, or if you just want to read a story about someone with incredible strength and persistence.

honest
This book was very honest, however, I don't know how sincere the author was at all times. I didn't relate to the author in terms of how she handled her infertility struggles. But, as she mentions, everyone handles their struggles differently. It was an interesting story for those also going through treatments or even pursuing adoption. In fact, I wish she would have expanded on all of the adoption details, but I understand why she held back.

Heartbreaking but such an informative read
As the mother of three daughter's, two that suffer from infertility, this book really helped me understand everything they were going through. Thankfully they are both moms now, but not before years of failed iui's and 4 failed ivf cycles. 5th time was the charm for both of them and they were blessed with beautiful daughters. Thank you Aprill for sharing your heartache and joy. You made me laugh and you made laugh and you made me cry but mostly you enabled me to understand.

A great read for those struggling with infertility, and even those who aren't
I picked up this book on a recommendation, and I couldn't put it down. It's a very in depth look at what someone goes through when struggling with infertility. It's a good read for anyone who is dealing with infertility or knows someone who is. I haven't had to deal with infertility in my own life, but I have family and friends who are dealing with it, and it was a great read for me to be able to understand what their struggle is.

This book will consume you until you finish it
A friend suggested this book. I ordered this for my kindle and I couldn't put it down. This story is heartbreaking. I wanted to keep reading. I felt like I couldn't put it down until I read good news. I can't imagine feeling like that for years on end.
