Avoid at all costs.
I originally gave this notebook a 4 star rating but on reflection I was to quick to review it. It has been nothing short of a nightmare. Programmes and apps take forever to load and will constantly freeze. That's when they eventually load that is. The internet speed is slower than dial up circa 1998 even though I pay for super fast with my provider. My other devices work brilliantly. Although it is too late to return it I still complained to the seller. Their reply. " well it is an entry level notebook so expect it to be slower ". Tosh

A good value laptop with excellent screen and good sized hard drive. The and processor does seem to run slow on complications but generally a nice laptop

If you want fast response this isn't for you.
The Aspire 3 15.6 notebook laptop is a nice light laptop that we wasn't hard for me to set up my email account, install Office 365 and transfer files from my old computer but is a little slow to respond to opening files and opening websites.

I had a windows 7 and switched to window 10. The Acer is a wonderful machine.
