I hit a deadhead log in the River drifting my canoe sideways down the current.Before I knew it I was looking up through 2 feet of green water and I pulled the cord.I shot to the surface like a cork and was able to grab the side of my canoe and kick my way to the shore.Cartridge replacement is ez and even though it’s not US coast guard approved it’s reliable and I’m glad I had it on...

I am a large busted gal, and I found with the other vests that they squished me so much I felt like I was in a straight jacket! This is perfect for me to fish in my kayak i with and I am finally FREE to move the way I want to ! The company was wonderful to work with, just five star, as I ordered the wrong color and put the wrong address in !! I couldn't be happier and recommend it highly... I LOVE IT !!!

Customer service and response was an important reason that I purchased this Life Jacket. Most Jackets are basically the same. I ask a question and received answers that were straight forward and accurate. The product is exactly what I wanted, functional, attractive, comfortable, and a well fitting vest. I especially like the way the back lays down and does not ride up on the neck. I admit that I have never worn a life vest and finally decided that I would. After the first 15 min of fishing I was not aware of the vest and did not think of it again until I took it off when pulling out! Price was not the biggest factor in my purchase as I had tried several on in other stores and this had the features that I wanted. It had to be comfortable while having life safety benefits. After saying all this, I was very happy that a product that worked well could be sold for such a great price. I would and have recommended it to my friends who I fish with. My boat buddy is placing his order after seeing mine. Great product, many thanks!

This is a great product for a great price! I checked every local sporting goods store where I live and the common response was "inflatable whaaa". I really did not have time to shop any further and checked with Amazon and located this Eyson PFD. The quality is equal to another, much more expensive brand I have (think American sports car) and am proud to have it. There have been several drownings locally and I do not intend to become one of them. When/if the time comes that I do have use this PDF I will certainly be back to update my review of this great inflatable life vest, comfortable too..

Don't have a lot of hours with this so far, but one of the nicest things about this style of life preserver or vest is it doesn't cover your back so doesn't interfere with seating.I think most of us want something that's going to protect us, but prefer it to be as unobtrusive as possible, and this fits the bill. It kind of disappears after wearing it a little bit, and that's what you want.The waist strap is designed for really large person, so there was a ton of excess webbing there so decided to cut that off and seal with a hot knife.Of course, don't really know how well this is going to work and hopefully I don't have to find out. The cord is easily accessible for inflation. Unless you were to be knocked unconscious, the manual control should not be an issue.I know this is not U.S. Coast Guard approved but it's probably because the China company doesn't want to spend the time and money to have it approved. The cost of our regulations jacks up the price. That doesn't mean it's not quality. The CO2 cartridges have been around a very long time, so it's a proven technology. I'm not concerned it's going to fail.

You barely notice you are wearing it, it doesnt restrict your movement, which is a big plus for us fishermen...You can inflate it manually or pull the cord and it will self inflate...You should note that after self inflating you will need to replace the CO2 cartridge. Manual inflation does NOT require changing anything and deflation is simple. Highly recommended

Very nice jackets, slim fit awesome for my kayak, you don't even realize you have it on, and the open back allows you not to heat up, even if paddling hard, love it

Very low profile. Easy to maneuver fishing poles while this is on. However, it is not certified in the US, just FYI

The product is not Coast Guard approved, so is not what people need.
