Perfect for teen-aged daughter luggage
I am often amazed at how we have painted ourselves into a corner when it comes to putting our names on something like luggage or a backpack. My daughter took one of our suitcases on a school trip, and some of the luggage (including my daughter's) got left behind. Many of her school mates parents had to drive and pick up the lost luggage because there was only a phone number on the tag. The people who called lost luggage were able to identify their luggage because it had their home address printed on a tag on it, but the clerk said they could only mail the luggage back to the parent (at the parent's cost) because the child had no photo identification that said they lived with the parent and could take the luggage. This tag was a lifesaver! Before she left, I updated the information to reflect her name, address and phone number, so that she could claim the luggage with her school ID. But the information on the tag was not viewable unless you scanned the tag. And every time the tag is scanned, you get an email to alert you someone is scanning the tag! This was a lifesaver in today's age where you don't want your name, address, and phone number visible to just anyone, but you still need to be able to claim something as yours!

Great concept
Loved the concept and easy to set up and use. Let’s you keep your info private but have your luggage labeled incase you get separated. The bad part was it only survived 2 months of 4 flights a week before it fell off while in the care of the luggage handlers.

It Can Help Find a Lost Bag, but NOT a Stolen Bag.
Nicely made, with no sharp edges and sturdy enough to hang on the outside of checked luggage. A business card will fit on the side with slots, and various name tags will fit if you want your name to be on the tag, which may be a good idea considering the limited motivation of baggage people in some locations. The GPS function is NOT like a "find my phone" function. I have tested it twice, and Google maps pointed to a location 1.25 miles (straight line) from my home. This will be sufficient to let you know that the bag is in Cleveland, IF whomever has the bag scans the tag or logs in to the web site with the tag number. It will NOT be sufficient to call the police and give them any useful sense of where the bag is because a 1.25 mile radius equals 5 square miles. Use some LocTite (or Superglue) on the threads of the wire loop to prevent the tag from being removed/stolen.Bottom Line: It's a nice tag, but I'm not sure whether it will help locate your bag any better than a $9 Tufftaag, especially if the baggage people in Tajikistan have no idea what the scan code is for.

Good, but….
Excellent product, however in real life the airlines will destroy it!! Made it to Europe and returned, Bent useless arriving home.

Cool and practical
The tag itself is very well made and I don’t feel as though it’s going to break or wear anytime soon. The only thing that I was a bit concerned about was the cord used to attach the tag to the luggage. This could definitely be fixed by changing the cord with something different like an O ring or another more sturdy or reliable cord.

Luggage Tags
The only problem was on one suitcase where we put the tag. It got caught in the luggage turn at the airport. We will place that one in a different spot. We got three tags and each of us put them on the suitcase, so we didn't know that placement was important. You learn from experience!

Piece of mind
I’ve used Dynotags for a few years now and have bought them for my daughters as well. Brilliant idea and so easy to register them. Much better than having a visible name and address on a label as well. I would highly recommend these for the security of knowing that of your luggage goes missing then these strong metal tags may help you get it back. Trust me, the metal wire holding the tag won’t break!

Tag lasted one flight
Great idea but my tag lasted just one flight, on the return journey it was missing from my case when I retrieved it from the luggage carousel.Very disappointed.I appreciate luggage takes a battering during handling at airports, but I'd expect it to last a bit longer. I've had other types of luggage tags (and much cheaper) that I've had for many years and they have survived the onslaught.Waste of money.

Track your lost luggage
Great size, purpose and colour. Unfortunately it's out of your control if they get bent in cargo whilst travelling but they're worth the purchase.

but it is really smart. Being able to go in and change address ...
Fabulous, I hope to never have to use the full facility of this, but it is really smart. Being able to go in and change address details so that you can always have the correct destination is just so useful.

Didn’t even survive one flight, total waste of money
As other users have found, it didn’t even survive one flight. It was missing when I collected the suitcase. Waste of money.
