I have worn one pair of Birkenstock sandals for over 10 years and finally replaced them. The old pair I am considering having refurbished since the straps are still in great shape.I just bought these for my son and they are made as well as the two pairs that I have owned. I was apprehensive in purchasing the Birkibuc sandals, but they seem to be made very well.The only problem that I have with these sandals is in trying to find the correct size. It is a lot of trial and error. The European sizing chart is way off from my own experience and now with trying to find the correct size for my son. He wears a size 11 shoe and the 43 is way to big, so I got the 42 and it is too big. I just ordered a 41 and am hoping that it will fit him or I will have to return another pair!

I really like Birkenstock, I use to wear the Birkenstock sandals in the 1970's. Very good support

I was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews but these are actually really nice. Light weight, comfortable and really cute! They have a little bit of a break in time but I just wear them here and there. After the first day wearing them while sitting I could already feel them forming to my feet. Definitely worth the purchase. If you have more narrow feet or prefer a more narrow toe box o would try to find the color in narrow.

I purchased these to replace my 5 year old Birkenstock Arizona Sandals, previously in Navy blue. Fit exactly as expected, and took even less time to break in - the new, softer soles seem to conform better to my feet. I really like the new stone color as well, nice and subdued, and easy to match with.Due to the materials used, you'll want to avoid getting these wet (a mistake I made early in the life of my previous pair), so I'd recommend a pair of cheaper, more casual sandals for use at the beach or in the rain.Very happy with these overall - considering I've come back for a second pair 5 years later, hopefully that shows how much I like these!
