These head covers do not protect the shafts. The knitted part is not longer than the stock head covers without a knitted sock.

I agree with the others, the driver cover is too tight to even begin to get onto the club. This is an extreme design flaw. I am keeping the head covers because the 3 and 5 covers fit well and look very nice and my driver has it's own style PING cover. I need a 7 wood cover to match the 3 and 5 (use the X tab for that?). Does this design come in a 7 wood cover?

Good and Useful. They work well and look good. I have expensive clubs and don't want to advertise what's in my bag. I try to keep the hood on when I'm not monitoring the bag, so these are a second line of defense. However, they are nice enough so I would recommend them as a good replacement for whatever reason. Yeah, I live in NYC.

I had to return them because the #1 Driver cover opening was way, way too small to fit over the Driver head. Can't believe it would fit on any size #1 Driver.The set I bought earlier for my irons and hybrids were perfect and that's why I purchased the driver head covers. I did return the driver covers and received a full refund so while I was not out anything it was inconvenient. Hope this review prompts some action to solve the problem for others.

The covers are for regular sized WOODS not the hybrid or the club heads that are the size of a toaster. I liked them because they covered the the club heads. My previous ones had a long sock like covering 1/3 of the shaft and made it impossible to put all 3 woods in one section of my golf bag. (my 'woods' are graphite, but I still call them woods)

I have a Cobra 460 SZ driver and the matching 3 and 5 woods. They fit just right for the price. The covers are a bit loose but you have to be able to get them off of the clubs. The color blue I chose is perfect for me. If you don't need expensive head covers and just want your clubs covered I recommend these.

The number 1 head cover did not fit my oversized driver, I used it on my 3 wood, I used the next size on my 5 wood and the smaller one on my 7 wood. I think that when head covers are shown using a cover on the driver (number 1), they should be large enough to cover the larger drivers that are used today.

Have had the long neck covers for 2 weeks. They fit my large driver fine and do not slide off. Only disappointment is that the “black” is not black & white as it appears online but is black & silver.UPDATE:Almost two years in and the head covers are starting to disintegrate! The necks are fine, but the mesh material on top has many small holes and some of the seams are coming apart. This after 100plus rounds of golf.Downgraded rating from a 4 to a 3.
