I don’t often write reviews, but I love unique ideas and this is one of those products that I didn't know I needed until I saw it and bought it.Why: There have been many a time where I've foolishly invoked the phrase "knock on wood" with nary a wooden chair, light post (thanks NYC), pencil, or toothpick in sight to knock on; thereby having to frantically search for a wooden surface in a panic lest I doom myself to woodless misfortune. Now, by purchasing MyKnockOnWood (Happy Face edition bc I’m a Watchmen fan) and securing it to my workstation I never again have to suddenly bolt mid conversation from my office into the pouring rain to find a tree. I find myself using this so often that I've decided to buy another one for my car (no wood trim) so I can avoid swerving off the road and sticking my fist out the window to knuckle bump some bark as i drive.On to the product itself: the wood is flawless (no nicks or chips) and nicely polished, the happy face engraving is excellently done, uniform, and smooth (I'm quite surprised at the attention to quality there for the price). It is the perfect size to not be an obnoxious addition to my workspace but also work as a quirky, functional decoration (it fits nicely in the palm of my hand and in between boring memos - see pics). The adhesive and velcro are strong and have held up for many months thus far.My coworkers have come a knockin’ recently due to fantasy football season, so I've also decided to make one (or 2) of these my White Elephant office xmas gift this year; I expect they will come in handy during March Madness. I am normally not a superstitious person, but I swear this thing works! I had bought the MyKnockOnWood with the Money Sign ($$$, since I work in banking) as a White Santa gag gift. The colleague who ended up getting it put it at the door way as we leave the office. In any event, I needed the market to dip just a little bit in order for me to recoup the loss that I needed to help save face with a client, so I knocked on it right before I left. Oddly enough the very next day the market dipped to where it needed to be and I was able to close on the transaction. My only fear now is that I may have knocked on it too much because the market just keeps on dipping?! I knocked on it again because now I need the market to go up, so you guys better get ready! My children use this product most when I travel away with work. The children rub/knock on this many times and know that mommy is sending her love from afar 💖 They also say it sends their love to me 😁💖 It’s such good comfort for us all.

Recently I purchased the Buddha MyKnockOnWood . I keep it in my car, because that was the only place you can’t find wood to knock on. I love it, the Buddha gives me positive energy everyday I look at it and makes my day go well. The wood is really smooth and I love having it around me when I need to knock. It’s a good size, so you can even carry it around with you in your purse/bag. Im so glad this was invented and I’m very happy with this purchase. They have so many beautiful designs to choose from and the blue Buddha attracted me the most. Highly recommended.

Beautiful piece of wood! I find myself saying "knock on wood" alot, so I figured why not! I really like the look of the polished maple, and the adhesive is strong and stays where you put it. Shipping was quick as well!

This is one of those gifts for the hard to shop for people. Bosses, coworkers, even your family member who already has everything they "need" in their life. Get them this instead of another pair of socks!What I'm most impressed by is the quality. The wood is smooth and polished nicely. Even the velcro adhesive is very high quality. I can see the velcro lasting a very long time and the wood will of course last forever.
