Almost perfection!!
Acebeam always was on the side of those, who want more and more, offering them them most bright stuff on the market and allmost most possible throw without loosing real usability. And this time they did it with brightest headlamp ever – 4000lumens.PACKAGE AND APPEARANCEGood design, thick cardboard – it`s ok for gift and will protect headlamp during while being shipped to your postbox. It may seem like a simple thing but I like that the headband on the H30 came pre assembled and ready to use right out of the box. On the outside band Acebeam is written in several places, it does contain a over the head strap too. On the inside of the band there are silicone strips all the way around to help keep the light in place on a helmet or something like that. It’s a nice step over not including any or a partial. The holder for the light itself is made of a silicone rubber. It has too large hoops that go over each end of the light when the caps are off. This is a pretty tight fit and not the easiest to take on or off, but holds firm for rotation. Pretty nice headband. Some things that I want to focus on before going to Acebeam H30 itself.Charge cable is unusual, because Acebeam H30 also can work in powerbank modeOverall, I like the design. It doesn’t feel like bulky. It`s kinda man`s thing in design. Solid, feels loke tool rather than toy to play with. I suppose it would be easy to screw up with design in this case, Acebeam managed not to do this and again released well designed product.Unusual feature – a pair of tailcaps. One is for battery compartment, another for charge port. There are 2 springs at opposide sides, they both are quite thick.Threads are well lubricated, and there is a Type-C charge port *at one side, covered with semitransparent plastic round with *indication LEDs under it. Blue is for powerbank mode, RED for charge process, GREEN shows that charging is completed.Reflector is OP, and shallow, looks like no more then 15-20 mm deep, with XHP70.2 at the bottom, there are an additional LED by the sides.Logical, and flexible. I like.SOQ (Square Orange Button)1 click S– ON\OFF2 clicks from ON – TURBO MAX3 clicks – RED SOS Hold from OFF – UlTRALOWRBB (Round Black Button)Clicks – mode switchingHold – switch between primary and side LED(un)lock – keep SOQ for 6seconds, it`ll blink 3 times. Simple and reliable, no tricksThere is a mode memory, doesn’t support Turbo MAX and SOSDischarge indication 3x blink each 5 seconds.Ultra Low: 3V Low: 3V Medium: 3VHigh: 3V Turbo: 3.2V Turbo max.: 3.2VSOS: 3V Red light: 3V Green light: 3VCut-off for different modesUltra Low: 2.7V Low: 2.7V Medium: 2.7VHigh: 2.7V Turbo: 2.9V Turbo max.: 2.9VSOS: 2.7V Red light: 2.7V Green light: 2.7VWhite is available in the following lumen spacing. 3 lumens, 120 lumens, 380 lumen, 1100 lumen. Turbo is good for 2200 lumens for 5.5 minutes then it drops down to 1000 lumens for about 2.4 hours. The light also has Turbo Max which has 4000 lumens for 1.5 minutes then drops to 1000 lumens for 2.5 hours.White runtime had a total of 150 minutes from turbo max down to low voltage protection kick in. I saw a little more length in runtime for Turbo max, about 2.5 minutes before it decreased. The decrease is quite substantial. Down to about 25% relative output from those 4000 lumens, so about 1000 lumens. Still a ton of light for a headlamp. The light as able to maintain that 1000 lumens for the remainder of the 147 minutes. Thatis a long runtime for 1000 lumens. The 21700 5100mAh battery shows it’s advantage here over an 18650. Heat was pretty well controlled. The light gets on the upper end of warmish but never uncomfortably hot when on the head.I believe that as a superbright headlamp, this one is almost perfect.I highly recommend buying this headlamp!! Almost perfection!

Needs specific charging cable, won't work with typical Type A to Type A cables.
It's very small for a headlamp with an extra long 21700 battery. With the XHP70.2 LED, it's crazy bright.I ordered the Nichia High-CRI side LED, although the XHP70.2 also has great reds.I really like the two-button control. There is a moonlight mode (just for very close-up work, or very night-adapted eyes), but the lowest normal brightness level is far too bright, should be 1/3rd of that level.WAY better than my old standby Zebralight H600Fc. The light is higher CRI, and it's much brighter, AND with a wider hot spot.

Worst headlamp ever!
This headlamp isn't worth $5! front heavy and will not stay on your forehead for nothing! as soon as you put it on it falls down onto your nose. they cheeped out and made the battery and all of its weight on the front with the light making it front heavy and no matter how tight you make the headband it falls into your eyes making a uncomfortable and unsafe hazard to work with! Worst headlamp ever! I own many ACEBEAM products and if i would have bought this one first I weould have never bought anything else from ACEBEAM THIS IS SO BAD!

Adjustable and bright
Amazingly bright light! Works great and I highly recommend it. The band around your head has a rubber grip that will keep the straps from slipping. It is also highly adjustable and will even fit over a helmet. The 4 different settings for light intensity give you a lot of control.

Bright!
This has replaced an flashlight I was using in the house. Its my new got to. It does get a little hot on the brightest settings and the 21700 battery it comes with is oddly longer than the rest of the 21700 batteries I have. So much so it wont fit in my charger, I have to charge the battery in the headlamp. Other than that its a great headlamp.

It really works wow.
This is the best led work light I have used. I work in the oil field as a driver going to different locations at night and some of them have no working lights. But let me tell you this led light is amazing to me it was well worth the money.

Very bright. Great features. Comfortable head band.
Overall great. Love the red light and warm white light option. A bit expensive, and a little bit on the heavy side, but it's a good headband so still very comfortable to wear.
