This cup does not do well with hot liquids. I tried hot coffee straight from my keurig, and hot tea. Both at average temperatures, nothing excessively hot. I could not touch the cup for about twenty minutes. It feels as if you are holding a ceramic mug by the body instead of the handle -- very unpleasant and dangerous. This is also an issue if you want to take it on the go and don't have time to let your drink cool off. I don't see how this sleeve is "thermal." I also don't see how this is "barista friendly" when it is burning hot to the touch. Cardboard coffee sleeves work better than the sleeve on this cup.

Love this mug. The glass seems really sturdy. It’s very easy to clean since there’s no moving parts on the lid for stuff to get stuck and the lid goes on super easy and creates a good seal even with a tea bag string in the way and it’s cute! The only things that could be better are that I wish the silicon sleeve was a bit thicker since it gets pretty hot, especially with things near boiling like coffee and black tea it can be almost too hot to handle. And the steam vent on the lid is pretty wide and close to the top of the mug so liquid actually can spill out that way of you’re not super careful.

I loved this for a week until the silicone topper cracked around the mouth opening and now it leaks whenever I take a drink. Rendering this a regular coffee cup...which I have plenty of.
