Crescent Wiss 9-1/4" Industrial Inlaid Shears - 29N

I needed shears that would cut through magnetic sheets, as I am JuDee's Creations, I draw and produce kitchen magnets, I've been doing since 1988. I was heatsealing the drawings onto wood, but with new technology, I can now mount them on magnetic sheets and cut them out with strong heavy duty scissors, I finally found these shears after looking in hardware supplies, and tool stores. When I received and tried out these shears, they were comfortable for me to use without hurting my grip, they glide right through my thick magnet sheet. I no longer have to use a scroll saw and constantly changing blades. The product was described so accurately, that it was just what I was looking for, and then when It came, I just stopped looking and got right to work on cutting out my projects.

After many years of having those "space age"-material, titanium coated, force-field inducing, plastic handled bundles of crap, we finally decided to spend a couple extra $, and get something real. Steel is real, so they say, and I'd say they're right.Though we've only had them for a couple months thus far, we're already seeing the difference. They have real heft in your hand. Doesn't feel like you're going to break the damn things by cutting through anything that has a little resistance. Though to be honest, they arrive being SO sharp, they cut through just about everything thus far with ease. Also nice to know that these are meant to last, as any good tool should, and we'll be having them professionally sharped as the years go by.If you're looking at these because you're obviously looking to replace a pair of shears, I'd say you won't go wrong with these.

You can never go wrong with the name wiss

After years of putting up with mediocre scissors at my office and in my shop, I splurged on a decent pair (learning that my barber's scissors cost $300 led to my change in perspective, although I don't make any money with my scissors). At any rate, these are nicely weighted and balanced, fit my hand well, and cut beautifully, After using them for almost a year, they still have a great edge and I haven't yet sharpened them. I now look for excuses to cut things up!

The scissors are a wee bit too stiff to handle. But if you loosen the screw on the blades it's better.

Fast delivery and the scissors are excellent. I highly recommend these for use when you want to make precision cuts of any type.

I thought these were suppose to be the best scissors on the planet. I was wrong. The handle does no fit your hand very well and they are uncomfortable. Hopefully the sharpness and durability will make up for the downside.
