Star Wars Original Trilogy Collection OTC Bespin Luke Skywalker #26

We purchased this as a bday gift for our 5 year old as he is a big Star Wars fan. He has always treated his toys well and is very mature for his age. However, within 5 mins of just looking at the toy, Luke Skywalker's hand broke off. I thought, well...maybe this is supposed to happen since it happens in the movie. I checked the packaging and it does not state this as a feature so I knew it was broken. Had hubby super glue it back on and then I saw that the light saber also broke. Cheaply made and the light sabers are very easy to lose. Wish we could return it. Do NOT waste your money on this toy.

This is a well done repaint of the Bespin Luke from the earlier Saga Collection. It retains the lightsaber swinging action feature, so the waist joint might seem looser than other figures because of this. Another feature which was unique to this Luke (and its' previous incarnation) is the magnetic right hand which simulates battle damage. Yes, the hand can be easily removed - on purpose. It's a small piece, so one must be careful not to loose it. I'm fortunate enough to have been taught to be careful with my toys. Thanks, Mom & Dad! Also, the lightsaber blade and hilt are two pieces (be careful not to lose them!) to simulate an activated or deactivated weapon.This series had really nice card backs which were reminiscent of the original vintage style cards without duplicating the exact look.
