Blue and Bad!
It is Bluetooth, not wireless - it has very basic controls with a couple of nice pluses, a top-lever which brings up the WINDOWS START SCREEN - The roller wheel is up, down and press to click with a trick! Lean the wheel to the right or left and it is a horizontal scroll control; nice touch! There is a slide switch and a push button on the bottom. The slide switch turns it on/off and the button is a reset which I have not needed to use.It fits my hand very comfortably with a small extra effort to reach the WINDOWS lever, which is good; It's not being clicked in error.Upon installing the mouse it recognized its USB plug immediately. So far the use has been seamless. On the down side, I really haven't found any... I have dropped it to the floor three times (hardwood) and either it is masochistic or really well built, it took the mistreatment.I have a wireless and several corded type mouse controls which now live in a small retirement bag, perhaps forever.

Great little mouse, good travel features
My last mouse started glitching out on me pretty quickly and I wound up selecting this mouse. What I really liked in my old mouse was being able to store the usb in the mouse for travel and I wasnt sure this mouse had that feature. Well it does and it's a great design. The usb slides in a spring loaded slot and it pops out when you push a small button. It also does have an off function. The mouse is small which I like and I like the rubber like grip on the sides. The click is also very quiet. It also works well on my mouse pad and on my desk surface.I can also confirm it works with windows 10 and the windows button does open the start menu. Not sure if I will use that feature but it's nice to know it works.

Great small mouse for daily use or travel!
I purchased this product and another similar model ( Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse - Wool Blue (43U-00011) ) at the same time. I have since used both of these (one for my desktop and the other for my 2-in-1 tablet/notebook). They both work great, even in close proximity. Neither mouse gets confused with the other's signal and both work well for their purpose. My mouse is about 6-7 feet away from the receiver on the computer and it still works well; If it goes further away than this, it gets choppy but it is still usable. I really love the 4-way scrolling ability, which can be handy when you want to scroll sideways on a wide website or inside a small window. I also really like the blue-track technology, that allows it to function on multiple surfaces. You don't need a mousepad! I have found that it doesn't like some materials (such as fleece or microfiber) but it works really well on cotton and denim. It works MUCH better than the red-light laser technology; (I have owned multiple mice with red-light laser technology and all of them were very particular about the material they were used on. I always had to have a mouse pad to use red-light laser mice). I highly recommend either of these blue-track technology mice. :)

Good mouse but only for travel or small hands
good tactile feedback on the mouse and the start button hot key is pretty neat. It is pretty ergonomic for the right hand size. Only reason I am giving it a three is because for my hand it is not very comfortable. It is a notebook sized mouse so that should be expected I guess.I would only recommend this mouse for someone who needs a travel size mouse or has small hands.

Despite my best efforts--they will inexplicably go tumbling off of my desk ...
First and foremost, I must confess that I am very rough with my wireless mice. Despite my best efforts--they will inexplicably go tumbling off of my desk and across the room, off of walls and under beds. The Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse is a great little mouse for fifteen bucks. It has a nice glossy finish featuring a blue Windows logo. Overall it works as intended and provides me with an adequate level of control. It has a click styled scroll wheel (which I like, but some don't) and does not include any bonus buttons. It is occasionally quirky in terms of how it works on certain surfaces (as stated in the description it doesn't work at all on glossy surfaces) but I've experienced a bit of frustration with it on non-glossy surfaces as well (though a mouse pad should clear these types of things up as I tend not to use one). This mouse has survived my extremely abusive style, but the battery door unfortunately did not--the little clip broke and it was impossible to keep it on there any longer. Fortunately the mouse is essentially fully functional without the door, and I cannot fault the construction really--as I confessed, it took some serious slams. If you want a no frills mouse and have access to non glossy surfaces, I'd say this mouse is a fine value.

Awesome Laptop Mouse
I love this mouse! I'm a professional online writer, using a laptop and this mouse 8+ hours a day. When I'm not writing, I'm a gamer. I've tried like a zillion mice over the years, but this is the one I keep going back to, again and again. It's small enough to use the laptop as a mouse pad, it's reliable, and I use the Windows button fairly often. It doesn't suck battery power and it tracks cleanly. Scrolling is smooth (an issue I've had with other mice).I will say, other family members do not like this mouse because it's small and has limited functions. If you have large hands or prefer more buttons on a mouse, this is not the product for you. As for me, I'll buy it again when this one wears out. This time around, I went with black, but the other colors are nice and function exactly the same. This is about my 7th mouse of this make/model. All have been winners!
