My master lock key storage shackle was not large enough to secure to my gate pole. I could have put it on the door know but the know is used frequently and that was not preferred. This cable solves the problem perfectly! I did not know products like this existed.

Strong! I really like that it has a plastic coating to keep it waterproof and there are NOT sharp wires or edges protuding.

way too thick for computer security

I bought this for extra security while backpacking and it works well. I am able to lock my bag to the rack on a chicken bus so I can take a nap with less worry. It's also low profile, so that's a bonus. It was great in hostels where there wasn't a locker to put my bag, I just locked my pack to my bed.

We used this to secure our luggage in hotel rooms while traveling. I'm sure people can still break in to the luggage but this might just detour someone enough to go bother a different room.

It's a steel cable, and it is lockable! Pretty sturdy too. Good stuff

Excellent. A bit stiff, but it's a good length, and not super thick.
