I Use Mine Differently Than Pictured in Product Listing
I have used a money clip for probably close to 10 years, and it was finally wearing out. I had seen guys using rubber bands, and I liked the idea of something more secure and more compact than a money clip. When I searched on Amazon, I found this and had to give it a try. My "wad" is usually no more than about 10 bills, plus a few credit cards, my driver's license, and a couple of coupons to places where I shop. At first, I was disappointed with the Broccoli Wad, as it was intended for guys who carry a bigger wad than I. There was no way this was going to work with my smaller wad. But then I tried something different. With my bills folded in half and credit cards and ID on tops of the bills, I decided to use the Broccoli Wad the other way--the long way--over the wad. It worked PERFECTLY! The credit cards give my wad some rigidity, which is required when you are stretching the Broccoli Wad, as it would collapse the wad otherwise. If you are like me and don't carry a lot of money around with you, give this a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Much Easier than dragging out a Wallet for everything.
My wallet long ago turned into a filing cabinet. I hated pulling out every big bill, credit card, ID card, receipt, picture etc just to buy lunch. So I keep my 'walking around' money separate. This is the perfect solution to keeping that money organized. Far better than a moneyclip, which really limits the amount you have, I put my most used credit and ID's in the center of the bills and I'm ready to go. Organized and looks cool. I do reverse the metal sleeve to have the wave design outside - as much as I like it, I'm not going to advertise for the Broccoli Wad people. This is actuallly a replacement - the first one I had finallly started to fray after years of daily use.

Excellent
So I purchased this item on April 3, 2013 and it broke today (3yrs4mths later and I gave the second to a friend) so here I am to buy a replacement it was $3.76 then and now $17.99!!! But what the heck it's worth it to me not to have rubber bands breaking constantly. I removed the metal potion and left the band bare. The band is very stretchy but still retains its tension and over the years never lost elasticity. It is wide enough not to let the bills slide out and doesn't get hung up in my pocket. I keep only cash in it, generally between 110-140 bills, I remove and replace the band 5-15 times daily.

Wide Rubber band with a Metal Clip, take off the clip save your nails
very expensive big rubber bad with a metal clip on it u get 2 so its still a big rubber band with a metal clip on it.I took off the metal clip and used just the rubber band to hold my wad .i will see how long the rubber band lasts.i used to usehair ties they only last a few 3-4 weeks and they scred ,so i was excited when i saw the new Broccoli wad.Disappointed when i saw a chip metal clip and a wide rubber bandI was happy to see they put the name Broccoli wad on the rubber bandThey should just sell the rubber bands by themselves packs of 10 or 20 skip the clipI guess for some the clip would be ok for show and tell(status) for the upper class of why they have a clip

Not just for holding money!
My husband works at a casino as a pit boss. He has to carry player's cards to hand out to new players. He was looking for something that would look nice and be funtional as well. Since the players cards are thick like a credit card, a business card holder wouldn't work. I couldn't find any credit card holders that would allow him to carry enough cards as well as him being able to get them out quickly. Then I found the Brocolli Wad! He said "You found what?" LOL! He absolutely loves it! He can now hold about 20-25 player's cards at one time and it fits in his pants pocket without feeling too bulky. It's very quick and easy for him to hand out cards now and it looks nice too! :)

Fun Gift for all your Greek and Italian boyz
I remember the old guys growing uo with the G-Wad in rubberbands. I did it myself until my wife insisted my success was do to her and I'd be using COACH products. I bought one for my Greek cousin...he thought it was awesome. It's an inexpensive gift and ships quickly. I just wich it had a cooler name...I get Broccoli Wad but I like the the name "G-Band" but what do I know, I'm just in mrketing.

Simple and does the job
Nothing techie about it. It's basically a rubber band that holds your cash and credit card in a tight package. It's not expensive since 2 come in a package and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps your bills organized and the most used CC handy. For the price you can't beat it. If you're the fancy type, please buy something 2-5x the price. For those of us who part of the working class drones, this is a solid product.

The "stylish" metal piece can easily be removed
I didn't like the metal piece on this band, but it is simple to remove. Stops it from being able to scratch other things in your pocket. The marketing is also rather cheesy too. This is not a wallet for showing off, but for staying hidden while wearing it.I've gone through a few wallets, each getting progressively smaller, but still ended up removing cards depending on where I was going. I don't like the bulge when wearing certain pants if I don't have a jacket pocket to store my wallet. I recently tried a real (blue) broccoli band and loved it. It really cannot get thinner and it's very easy to find cards or access bills.
