Easy to install

We're building a big barn and I needed something to light the place up temporarily but also that I could use in the shop space once the interior framing is done. These lights have worked great so far. Very bright, they come with screw and chain hangers, and they come with the connection cables to daisy chain them.I bought a bag of connection cables not realizing the set came with them, but then ran short of the power cables as I want to run a number of the lights individually and you need to get those separately. Regardless, great lights and I would definitely buy again if needed.

Really bright lights with a lot of ways to install and connect them. Previously I had another brand of 8 ft LED lights and installed them using the solid connectors end-to-end instead of wiring each separately. They tended to overheat and break the connection. So with these I wired them separately so if one goes out, the rest stay lit. Be aware that each 8 ft. section is about 110 watts, so using all 10 you need all of a 15 amp circuit and a wall switch rated for 15 amps.

I have ten of the eight foot lights mounted in a 24'x32' pole barn. They are mounted flat on the ceiling. The barn is very bright, the lights do not flicker or pulse. My gripe is with some of the accessories and the specifications on the lights. They are NOT eight feet long. They are 93.5" long. Also, there are no listed specifications for the output of wattage of the bulbs. This listing says 120w, but there is nothing in the documentation. The instructions say something about not connecting more than 200 watts when daisy-chaining, but does not specify the draw of the fixture. Also, the daisy chaining feature is great, but the daisy chain cords that are included are maybe three feet long. They are completely useless. Who would mount these only three feet or less apart? Wiring for the fixtures is stranded and non-standard colors but the documentation fortunately has a color coordination chart. Connecting the stranded wire to the Romex was very frustrating. Overall I am happy with the lights. I wish they included eight foot daisy chain cables, used standard color wiring and used solid wires for power.

For years have worked in my garage with one 100 watt light bulb and the two light bulbs on the garage door opener.What a bummer! Have had to use flashlights and trouble lights on extension cords in order to see what I was working on. Finally broke down and bought these lights. What a difference. Installed them in three rows of two per row and let me tell you, they light up that garage (with 10 foot celing by the way) like the sun just went nova! To be honest two rows of two each probably would have done the job but I am so pleased with them the way they are I wouldn't change them. SUPER easy to install. Wiring tip for those of you who want to use them in your garage: LED's draw so much less power than regular bulbs that these can run on a heave duty extension cord. Take the regular bulbs out of your garage door opener and screw in a plug adaptor. Plug these lights into that and they will go on and off with the operation of the gatage door opener, plus you can use the switch on the wall mount to turn them on and off when working. Shipping from California to Chicago area took about a week (chose free ground because there wasn't any rush) and was delivered right on projected delivery date. Packaging was superior (EXTRA, EXTRA thick box) and the lights are just as good as advertised. HIGHLY reccommend these lights.
