It's the size of a real fish. The eyes have a natural looking shimmer. I thought they would be just painted flat white around the pupil but they made them look real fish eyes.

I bought this fish for 1/2 the normal price so that's why I gave it 3 stars. If I had to pay full price, I would have given it less. The vendor photos show coloring on the fish. Mine is just a plain, ugly purplish brown color. I probably could get a plastic fish of the same quality at the $ store.Other than that, what you see is close to what you get. There's a suction cup with a strong plastic string attached and that's connected to the fish. I bought it for an art class so I haven't put it into water or an aquarium but it seems like it would work.

Disappointed. Fake advertising. The product description and photos made it sound like this fake fish is super real. This fake fish is made in China, and the quality is not worth the price of $5. it looks cheap, it feels cheap, it probably cost less than a dollar in China, and the sellers are marking it up 500% to make $$$. this is a rip off.

The few bucks I spent, could’ve just gotten an extra fish! Lol he’s floating every morning before I go to work! Which my real fish are questioning if that’s gonna be them soon! Lol

Bigger than a real beta fish. Would have preferred it to be smaller. Otherwise, it works like it is supposed to. I named him Bob.

Color nothing like the photos. Package says it glows and it does not. Doesn't sit well in tank. It's a very ugly colour. Dealing with the seller has been such a hassle. AVOID- Don't buy
