I didn't find the last few collections of inspirational sayings I read very, well, inspirational, so I was a bit skeptic about Beth's books. This is different - perfect little quotes, so simple and so effective. I love this little book. I love the quotes, the look, the size (3 x 4 inches?) ... and I love what Beth Mende Conny wrote in the introduction: "In matters of love, family, friendship, and work, this collection of thoughts encourages you to take control of your life and ideas, to turn life's stumbling blocks into stepping stones. As you turn these pages, take the words of advice to heart and mind. Let them serve as loving, accepting, tell-it-to-you-straight kinds of friends ..." One of my favorites? "Never grow a wishbone ... where a backbone ought to be. (Clementine Paddleford)

I purchased many of these mini books for high school graduates this year. I really enjoyed the messages and quotes and I hope they look at these books through good times and bad times while in college. I even sent a couple of these books to good friends who appreciated them.

I love this little book who of inspirational quotes. I kept it in my drawer at a job I hated and it helped me stay sane! Now I give this book as a gift.

The book is cute and extremely tiny! I bought it to sign for a graduation party. It worked but I'mNot sure I would buy this again based I. The small size of the product.

I saw this book and decided I needed it for my collection. An inspirational read. I highly recommend!

Great little messages, but not what I expected, I guess. More of a daily devotional type sayings. Okay for stocking stuffers.

It's a gem of a booklet! Full of inspirational jottings, which I enjoy giving to friends. The price was right and fast delivery from Amazon.

We bought this for a grandson. It has an attached bookmark anchored by a 24-caret gold plated charm. We replaced the charm with a Marine Corps uniform button. We couldn't change the words inside which, in one case, anyway, seem to be written for a female reader. It can be made OK for a boy, but its better for a girl.

Bought for a friend whose confidence has been knocked by events. She has found it of great benefit.
