I originally gave this product 3 stars. I have bought a total of 4 of these for my house. I have large awkwardly placed windows and normal curtain rods don't work. Now price wise these are a good purchase if you don't have dogs, kids or heavy curtains. However, the reason for the change to a 1 star review is due to (1) the fact that my kitchen window (which has blackout curtains in it and happens to be the one that gets the most amount of sun) falls down at least once every week. Since this has begun the sticky pads that protect the walls have fallen off and no longer stay on. (2) The one I have in my 2 year olds room is now being held together with a hose clamp. The bar bent and the whole thing came apart when I went to open the curtain to let in light for my kid could play. And (3) the one I have in my other kids room doesn't like to stay. You get it to the right length then put it up and it will twirl back up on itself and fall. Any time I have to wash the curtain it takes me at least 45 min just to get the "right spot" so it will stay up. Now I have only had these things for a little over 3 months. Next time I'll spend a little more and get something of better quality.

This rod is made of very thin cheap metal. The metal is about the thickness of a Coca Cola can. It comes in two pieces that need to be screwed together, but do not hold together well at all. The spring in the tension end unwinds itself at will. The rod had hairline cracks in several places when we unpacked it. We were hanging very lightweight sheer curtains but their weight was too much and the rod kept sliding down the wall. The rubber ends do not grip the wall well. The rod sags in the middle, cannot hold weight of the curtains. There are tiny screws that are meant to hold the ends onto the rod that fell out constantly, causing us to have to search for them and put them back in. Very disgusted at the price of this product and its horrible quality. Now have the hassle of returning it for a refund. If you need a strong well-made curtain rod for a wide expanse this is NOT the one to buy.

This is not made well. As soon as you try to assemble it, the seam pops. I asked Amazon for a replacement and they were really good about that. The second one did the exact same thing. Not very well made and it seems that this company has a quality issue as I purchased a slightly smaller one and it was perfect.

We used this tension rod curtain as a privacy blocker for some makeshift storage area in our retail shop. This curtain rod is doing exactly what it needs to. It’s sleek, simple, modern rod hold our heavy duty panels up high without falling down from the textured walls. Would definitely buy again if we need more!

Ordered the 120 to 150 inch and it's just way too flimsy. The 'metal' is incredibly thin and has a seam down the side that was already separating when I took it out of the box. I'm sure it's fine for short distances but for 120-150 inches it's not durable enough to hold anything.

I received a broken product and requested a return label. I not only got a return label but someone thought it was a good idea to send a replacement. I will be returning that one as well because I already replaced the rod with another model.

The pics are not the best, but if you notice the ends of the rod, they creep down until the rod falls. At first it would creep a little at a time, so I would adjust and put it back in place. Then it was happening more and the finally it started to fall. I am so disappointed. This was $38 thrown away.

The product works as advertised and looks good. I had to extend it to 144 inches and by that length it starts to sag in the middle so I had to use a hook in the middle to make it hang straight instead of in a slight U-shape.
