I normally throw at a local art centre but 2hrs a week was never enough for me to have a proper practice. I'd been dubious to get such a cheap wheel on Amazon but when the Covid quarantine began I decided to go for it. It was at my door in under a week and with the nice weather I can easily set up in the garden. It's quite low but it is fine on a low table. The foot pedal is plastic and sticks so I use my hand to adjust the speed. The basin can be removed in two parts for easy cleaning. All in all for a first time hobby thrower or as a cool present you can't go wrong. I'm really pleased and would definitely recommend.

This product doesn't work, it wont even switch on, there is no power to it whatsoever. I am returning for a refund as there was also no option for a replacement. Really dissapointed as was excited to receive but it's completely non functional.

This suits my needs as a beginner and on the whole I’m happy with it. A more serious potter would want a better quality wheel.Main issues is that the foot pedal isn’t great quality. I can’t completely stop the wheel head with it. I have to use the switch to turn off the wheel. A bit annoying at first, but have got used to it now and it’sI raised a pot first time, have got used to its idiosyncrasies and have been able to practice everything I made in class. As a complete beginner I think it suits my needs and is good value relative to the classic brands that can be £1200+. Vert happy with it.
