Has an odd smell the first few times you use it, but I'm sure that's normal. The smell has gone away now and the toaster works great! Love the retro look and the different settings.

We love the looks, just a little off the color scheme of our mint green Kitchenaid finishes on other appliances but we were looking for quality as our first priority. After a little trial and error the toast is exactly as we like it and we have toast every morning. Takes a little longer than expected but not enormous;y so. We've used it every day since it arrived with no problems. The only thing I can't comment on is when you make a lot of toast it says in the booklet that you should wait at least 30 seconds to lower the levers again so the temperature controls can re-set. Like any toaster we immediately re-lower the lever to make the toast slightly darker (especially early on when adjusting it) and we didn't wait and there was no problem.

We researched many toasters and this one overall received positive reviews. From the first use, the heating coils in every toaster slot don't all heat up (you see which ones are lit up red and the rest are not). We set the temperature to the highest setting and after a long toasting time, the bread is barely toasted. For it to actually toast, we have to set it to 6 (highest setting) and run the toasting twice which takes approximately 10-15 minutes to toast a piece of bread and you will never get an even toasting experience this way. Disappointed. We thought spending 70USD on a toaster was somewhat a guarantee of a quality product. We are returning it.

Very prompt shipping. Thought this toaster was made in the UK. Actually, it's made in China. Feels lighter than you expect. Seems to be reasonably well made. Getting the right shade of toast requires some trial and error. The type of bread (white or wheat) makes a big difference. Also, the freshness of the bread makes a difference. It seems to take a long time to toast compared to other toasters I've had in the past. That also has a lot to do with the degree of brown you get. Because it takes longer to toast, the toaster tends to dry the bread, which in turn affects the shade of toast you get. If you like to experiment every time you try to toast your bread, this is a good toaster for that. If you just want consistent toasting, I would look elsewhere.

I purchased the Cotswold 4-slice toaster because I wanted to match with my Cotswold tea kettle. They look great in my kitchen. It’s not sold as a set, but you have the option to mix and match with a different style, I love the retro look. Very good quality!

As described. I was hoping the color would be more similar to my Kitchen Aid mixer (pistachio), but close enough. It is listed as sage green and is slightly more teal than that, but overall not glaringly teal. I love the way the stainless steel compliments the color. Toaster is great! Thank you!

The COTSWOLD 4 -slice toaster is the best toaster I have ever had! It toasts everything perfectly, and having four slots means that everyone gets a perfectly golden brown slice of toast. I am just so very pleased with my toaster. And it is a real eye catcher also.

It's attractive and well built, but it takes forever to toast 2 slices of bread. After 3 minutes at max setting, bread comes out "warm". You have to do 3 toast cycles at max setting to get bread toasted properly.

Looks beautiful, love the color. Wide slots, easy to use. I also have the electric kettle. It works great too. Boils water quickly. Love the design and color.
