I loved the story line once again. Bravo! Kept my full attention, and I could relate to the main character on so many levels. I loved her courage, imagination and her love for the proper way people live in the curiosity of castle life and all it's glory and privileges that they're not even aware of as it's simply life as they know it to be. To them, normal in every way. To common people, eccentric and indulging, but in an innocent, classy, sophisticated sort of way. I could read about their characters forever more!

A heartfelt and heartwarming tale. It was poignant and thought provoking.
I have given Danielle Steel five star reviews on every book I have read and I have read them all. I find her writing style so easy to read, comprehend and relate to. With each book having a different theme, plot, characters, difficult situations, life altering and sometimes life threatening occurrences, family dynamics too hurtful to envision enduring and wrongful accusations to deal with, the story always shines with the power of the human spirit to go on, overcome adversity and rise above injustice to be empowered and become a better person no matter what the circumstances. I enjoy the span of eras and countries Ms. Steel takes us to during the journey. I always feel empowered and more knowledgeable at the end of each book.A loyal reader,Ellen Franks

Great story! Lovable characters, needs better writing!
Absolutely loved the plot, the characters and the British setting. The writing bothered me , flat and like what I used to read as a a teen. I read this because I loved Downton Abbey. Relaxing enjoyable read.

COULD NOT PUT DOWN!
I LOVED this book. For the first time in over five (5) years I couldn't put a book down and read this in a little over one day.I highly recommend this book, especially if one has watched the “Downton Abbey” series in that the major scenes take place at a Historic Location used for filming a series similar to “Downton Abbey”.I really felt strong emotional ties to the heroine Winnie and could relate to her having to deal with a “comfortable” relationship that was going nowhere as her biological clock was ticking, as well as the manual labor of living by herself…like shoveling the snow out of the driveway in the Winter, or of being passed over for a promotion for someone inexperienced (and how she handled the situation in a way most of us would love to but can't). Thankfully that’s now in the past but still…it was very relatable.Throughout this novel I imagined being a good friend of hers or a neighbor in her new circumstances while she lived her dream. Danielle Steel really did a great job of writing, I felt like I was actually there alongside Winnie, at the B&B, on the set and especially…well; don’t want to spoil it for anyone.I had stopped reading Danielle Steel some years ago, I forgot why but no longer, I will re-start reading her novels again. I cannot recommend this book highly enough, it is on my re-read list.

Mature Audience Adventure
After a slow, even somewhat disappointing start, “Beauchamp Hall” slips into an engaging, even provocative read.BLUSH FACTOR: Although the number of eff-words is not too large, it is more than you would probably wish to read to your youngsters or your prayer group. Having stated that, the language used does sound authentic and does fit in this saga. There is a sex scene that will likely embarrass anyone reading to their youngsters or their prayer group.WRITING & EDITING: Excellent. Professional.BOTTOM LINEThis is an interesting tale that most any reader will enjoy, if not necessarily love. It was not a life-changing sort of novel, but it was a nice diversion.Four stars out of five.I am striving to produce reviews that help you find books that you want, or avoid books that you wish to avoid. I saw Downton Abbey pretty late and totally fell in love with the show. I saw it again and again. I'm as it is a fan of Danielle Steel. When I read this book it reminded me of my obsession with the show and I totally identified with it.
A very realistic story that one identifies with instantly. Reminded me of how I fell in love with the show Downton Abbey.
