Hang that wheel
Audi vehicles are nice. They have some very nice features. They have some head scratchers also. One of these head scratching features is the use of lug bolts instead of lug nuts. When you rotate tires, do some deep wheel cleaning, or minor maintenance like brake pad replacement (DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE BRAKES!!!!), you take the lug bolts out and then drop the wheel and do what you need to do. When you want to put the wheel back on, you better have a good back, strong arms, or help. This wheel hanger is all the help you need. Simply screw this into the top hole (finger tight) and it helps guide the wheel and hold it in place. Once you get a few of the lug bolts in and snugged down, you can remove the wheel hanger and finish the job.I recall the first home tire rotation on an Audi and I struggled a little bit. The second tire rotation I struggled a bit less but still said things that would scare small animals and children. I apologized to the universe and lit a candle asking if there was an easier way. Yes there is the universe replied. "Take it to the dealership or a tire shop and pay them and exorbitant amount of money to do this work for you." Silly universe forgot I'm stubborn.I don't even know how I found wheel hangers exist. I think I was looking for the thread specs on a lug bolt and thinking about going down to the hardware store and getting a bolt and cutting the head off of it and long story short wheel hangers exist and I wasn't going to pay through the nose for one so I looked for a marvel called a wheel hanger with Metric 14x1.5 Threads. Amazon to the rescue. The best $9.22 I've spent in a long time.Does it work? You bet it does. Will it last because it's sturdy? Seems like if you aren't a knucklehead and take care of it, it will last a long time.Would I recommend it to a friend? If the friend had a Ford truck...no. If the friend had a vehicle equipped with lug bolts then by all means YES.Would I buy it again? Probably not. Why? Because I'm not a knucklehead and I take care of stuff.Save your back, save your sanity, save your reputation if you are a DIY person buy buying a Wheel Hanger.

Already used it 4 times. Great simple wheel hanger
I bugged the threads on my original hanger that came with my VW SUV. Rather than trying to fic it, I bought this one, works exactly as it should. Should last for many tire rotations.

Big help with mounting wheels
I saw a person using one of these on a Youtube video, and got one for myself, since I knew I was going to be adding some spacers to my Audi. I should've gotten two, but one worked pretty well. It helps a lot with getting the wheel on the hub, and keeps it from moving around. I slipped an allen wrench thru the hole in the end and snugged it down, worked like a charm on all four hubs. Definitely need to add this to your toolbox!

I'm not sure what to think.
I half expected it to be steel according to the description. Another area of a description says it's billet alloy aka aluminum. I use it twice a year for seasonal tire change. It might be ok with infrequent use. Years ago I was an auto mechnic. If I use this every day. I don't think the threads would hold up. Aluminum threads into steel hub overtime would wear out quickly. I would think. There are different qualities of aluminum and the price isn't bad, so I'll give it ago. I hate buying tools twice.

Great help
Makes it so easy to mount a tire on a VW. Otherwise it is a very difficult task requiring three hands. Build quality is excellent.

Exactly as advertised
Great product, exactly what I was hoping for.

Very well made. Far better than OEM.
I bought this to replace the Alloy one that came with the vehicle. The PEM unit had begun to strip, and would not screw in well. This one is steel and attaches easily, and securely.
