SAVE YOUR MONEY
UPDATE: Seller (OnePlus) contacted me to give me a complete refund. Highly appreciated. It makes me feel better about them as sellers. Unfortunately I still think that the cleats are really lousy, but I have a higher opinion of the vendor. --SBSERIOUSLY disappointed. I ordered a M for a woman's size 8.5 shoe. I liked the replacement cleats, but they don't make up for the lightweight construction, the rather thin and too-stretchy rubber. These migrated around on my shoe, and the heel cleats never got back far enough to earn the name heel cleats. I felt totally insecure on the ice that is part of a Maine winter. Have ordered Stabilicers to replace these; I should have bought them in the first place.

Good Value
These are a good value for the money. I used them a couple times with boots to walk my dogs. I walked on some ice by myself first to make sure that I didn't slip before I had two dogs pulling me on the walk. They did the trick. For comparison sake, they are much better than Yak Tracks which are useless on ice. They are definitely as good as the Stabilicer products. I wish the cleats were a little farther back under the heel-that would be my only criticism. They are very easy to put on and the cleats are pretty low profile-meaning you can't really feel them under your feet when you are walking.

I would not recommend buying these at all
Bought this last year and just now got around to being able to use them ice fishing. The "cleats" on the bottom in the yellow discs are round metal points. Well, round metal on ice is slick, if not slicker, than just boots on ice. If you step hard on them and put a lot of pressure, they do dig into the ice and provide some stoppage. However, just casual walking across bare ice is a dicey proposition. I would not recommend buying these at all.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Great to Use on Ice!
Great "spikes" to add to your regular shoes! I put these on my Red Wing Worx steel-toe shoes to help me not bust my butt in the midWest ice. Works like a CHARM! Holy cow! We went out last week and the roads were like an ice rink - luckily I had these "spikes" on my shoes to get me back to my car safely! Even my roommate was surprised I didn't fall since the spikes are so small! I tried using them the other day to help bust up some ice in a back-and-forth motion. I noticed that the yellow plastic spike holders come out with that sort of movement and I had to put them back into the rubber housing. My fault as I did not know and it works good as new after putting the spikes back into the rubber. Works great, we're ordering more for roommates and close friends! For the price it can't be beat!

Poor quality. Sizes are wrong
Poor quality. Sizes are wrong. I chose these because of the positive reviews and that was a mistake.I originally ordered a size L for myself (I wear a size 10 hiking boot) and a size M for my girlfriend (wears a size 7 hiking boot). Both pairs were within the recommended size range and both were too big. Mine would slip around and one of hers fell off (this was on a run on a trail in the snow). She didn't even notice that hers fell off which really says a lot about the products effectiveness. We ended up returning the L. I took the M and we got her a S. On our first hike out in the snow, mine were still slipping off my boots and three of the yellow studs on hers fell off on the hike. Needless to say, they were all returned. The only positive out of this was that I got my money back without any hastle. Unfortunately, I would not recommend these and I really don't understand how anyone found these to be a good product. You get what you pay for by going cheap with these.

Junk
Junk. Doesn't provide traction for your heel. Most people out for a walk around town or a hike start each stride with a heel strike (vs a runner landing on their whole foot, or a sprinter running on the ball of their foot). No traction for a heel strike = slipping, sliding, and falling. These grippers are absolutely worthless. Please don't waste your money.

Good Grip in snow and ice
I use it everyday when i go from my home to parking lot, does give a good grip, but we need to be cautious walking on the smooth floor. Though walking with this one for long time gives discomfort for your foot

One of the best buys I have ever made!!!
We have been having a rough winter in NH. I am sick of sliding around on the ice in my yard when I try to take the dogs out. After falling once, I decided to order these. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. They are easy to put on and take off. They come with replacement grips. I have been using them for about two weeks and feel very safe on the ice. They make me feel surefooted even when the dogs are yanking me with the leashes.
