This is almost exactly the same as the Nerrad torch. The only difference I can see is the Nerrad has a solid brass flame diffuser, this has the same kind of diffuser as the Rothenburger torches. I bought this as a back up torch as I have a fairly new,perfectly good Nerrad but I prefer this torch.

I bought this for brass/bronze brazing and it does not do it. The torch end produces a flame too wide, and does not allow for the brass/bronze rods to get hot enough for a flow. If you're looking to braze, stay away from this torch. I've done lots of brazing in the past and this is not suitable.

Really good quality, but not being a professional plumber it’s too early to say how good it is yet. But, I’m feeling confident that it will be. It’s nice to have a torch that doesn’t flair up when you point it downwards, as my old one did!!

I would avoid this product like the plague, on the first day of using this blow torch the push button blew off & ignition button fell off, very poorly made & I had to pay postage to return the product which I haven't been refunded for yet. I have been in the plumbing and heating industry for 20+ years & this is the worst blow torch I have ever bought shocking.
